March 21st was the last Saturday of my spring break and it also happened to be DH's grandfather's birthday. DH is the only grandson able to carry on the family name, so it was a nice way to honor his grandfather, also.
July 28, 1984. It was my Dad's birthday, which he was thrilled we married on.
It didn't work out, we were divorced (very happily for me!). I still can't believe I would be married 25 years if it had lasted! When my parents had their silver anniversary, they seemed so old!
I REALLY wanted to get married on 01/01/01, but DH didn't get off the stick in time, so we got married 01/31/01, which isn't nearly as cool.
We had our wedding on 04/01/01, which is pretty good, but most people only care about the fact that we got marrie don April Fool's Day. It was actually kind of fun--our families kept asking what we were going to do with it being April Fool's Day, and little did they know (or do they know) that the whole thing was a re-enactment.
