What CROCS did for me!!

:rotfl2: I cant tell you how many people are pointing to my feet and asking about either my "beach shoes" or my "gardening shoes :rotfl2: . I am beginning to feel like Dchef of our town, spreading the word. :goodvibes I of course accomadate them by taking off my shoe and let the person feel the difference!! :rotfl: Today at the grocery store, the ladies that pointed, thought gardening plastic gave her blisters, but loved she could just "hose them down to clean" :rotfl: SO I gave her the spiel of my bone spur, and told her 2 stores that sold them in town, and "My one friend" says "zappos.com" will come out with more styles soon!! and free shipping!! :rotfl2:

I've just got to have a pair of blue Niles!! :rotfl:

Does anyone know how the Payless ones and the original Crocs compare? I bought the Payless ones (in baby blue) and they're very comfortable! Are the real ones better?

Ok i broke down and got a pair of each (Payless & Crocs) since no one posted anything since my previous post. WHile I like the crocs, I actually like the Payless kind (got the blue ones too) better, mostly because they fit me a bit better.

I wear a size 9 in regular shoes, sometimes a 9 1/2. The crocs are just a tiny bit snug-got a size Medium (8/9) because the largers were huge. At Payless they had full sizes and I bought an 8-they fit perfectly. If you can't find Crocs or just want to try out a less expensive version, pick up a pair at Payless. Mine were $14.99, less a $5 off coupon I found in a local paper so you can't beat that price!

That's the same size as I bought. I normally wear a 8 1/2 in regular shoes and the 8's from Payless fit me just fine. My second toe is as long as my big toe so I need a slightly larger size (because of the way the shoes are cut) or I would have bought the 7's. The 9's were HUGE on me.
I took them to work to show off (we call them the 'ugly shoes') and everyone there liked them but wish the Payless ones came in white. (We're in the medical profession.) The black ones look like they would be too hot and the pink ones are more of a melon pink rather than regular pink... a bit too bright for me.

For the poster who asked, I wore mine w/out socks when I went to Silver Dollar City. No foot sweating problems or blisters.

Snowed in here today--not a good day for beach Crocs(did I mention yet we are not moving to FLA :cool1: )and so my other pair still hasn't come.

The buzz here in CO is that the next line will be "Great Shoes" for everyone. I can't wait!! When will they be out: Can't say, but I might have to make a trip to the Crocs site and find out some scoop--I wonder if they will let me in....maybe just go to the Kiosk in the Mall.

I have very wide, extra extra wide feet. Will these shoes fit?? I ended up with plantar facitis last trip from so much walking and I love to walk. I had surgery on a bunion in Aug but my foot still gives me problems sometimes. I would like to try these shoes but hate to pay and have to send them back. I may try are hallmark or payless.

Yippee! I got my Cayman Crocs today. Okay seriously very first impression I'm thinking :sad2: oh no they are too small!!!!!!! ARGHHHHH but I calmed down and walked around my house a little. I think once I "sink" into them a bit they will be fine. Boy are they ugly :rotfl: I tried them with the straps and without. Without the strap is easier for sure and after awhile I was able to wear them without the strap and they felt secure enough to stay on. I wasn't sloshing around in them. There is a light smell to them, a slight sweet smell but not the moth balls others have noted.

The words not out yet if I love them but time will tell and of course my Disney trip will be the true test. So what do you think?

I was in the mall yesterday with my SIL and Mother and I showed them CROCs. They both thought they were ugly shoes and nobody should be wearing them. I told them my Friends on the DIS said they are Great.

12 days till I wear mine to WDW, I will post a pic of DD and I when we return!

How did you decide what color and what style to buy? I have found a few websites with free shipping, but I can't decide on a color or style. :confused3

Well the website actually narrowed down my choices :flower: (rei.com). They only had Caymans which come in a limited variety. So I got the Red. I figure if they work and are half as great as every one claims I'll buy the Niles (sport sandal) too and maybe a Beach pair in another funky another colour like Coral.

These are meant to be FUN shoes not serious. Don't go freaking over they need to match with everything etc... Trust me if it's summer everything goes! And if yopu really don't like them they can be returned. If you're lucky enough to try some on then it may be easier to choose a colour. Go have fun :)

Where are you finding the Nile style???

Again, went shopping, and a store owner asked me about them, and I always say "have you heard anything about the Croc's yet?" she has the same problem as I do, but she got the shot for her plantar fascha thing... so as we talked, she was all over me "GET THE SHOT" and I was "BUY the shoes" :rotfl2: I told her about zappos.com too!!

:cheer2:

YES, YES...these are great for your feet!! I have very wide feet as well as bunions and have had the worst problems finding decent shoes--until now!! Try them out, you will love them. If you read through past testimonials you will find many people who have the same problems and love the Crocs.Let us know how you like them.

Wow these sound too good to be true! has anyone out there worn them that has FLAT feet? - i mean no arch at all! That is me and I have lots of trouble with shoes and my feet hurting. I am anxious to try these but need to know if the arch support will hurt my feet where ther is no arch at all. Anyone?

well dh has flat feet, and loved Birkenstocks, now swears by Chacos, which have an arch to them, these have the special resin that "MOLDS" to your foot, they seem so flimsy at first (My ankles pronate so my arch is useless!!) also, both dh and ds went to poditrist for orthotics with their flat feet, so based on that, I would say Crocs are good for flat feet!! :wizard:

okay:
I can't read this whole thread. someone needs to do a "best of crocs" posting synopsis.

With a DD age 9 who wears a 3.5 shoe, (not toddler 3.5) what size "kids croc"?

I wear a 7.5 womens. I have severe neuropothy in my middle 3 toes on each foot, and the only sneakers I can wear is sauconys because they don't press on my toes. I have a narrow back of the foot, but have to have wide over the toe area. Plus I have these maddening veins on the top of my foot, so can't tie shoes tight enought to feel good around the arch if they are wide enough for the neuropothy. Shoes are a nightmare.

Will the crocs small "most likely" address my needs?

If so, what color do I want :cool1:

thanks,
erin

It sounds like it may work best for you to go to an actual store and test them out yourself instead of ordering online. There is a "store finder' on their web page. Good luck and I hope you find something that will work for you.
