We are family here are the croc thread! We are here to support you and one another! :grouphug:

You might like to start a new thread with your potential move stuff and get this thread back to Crocs so they don't close it because it's hopping down a bunny trail.

Good advice! ;) Sorry you're upset about moving but we have a Community Board for that sort of stuff.Ya can talk about that all you want over there. :)

I've been following this thread since the beginning and been interested but wonder what the shoes really like..I finally saw a pair of Crocs in RL yesterday. The little boy in line at the grocery store had them on.He took one off so I could feel it.I was amazed how light weight they are.DH was impressed too.His Mom raved about them too.I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. There's a place here that sells them and I think we just might go try some out. :sunny:

The Moderator Has Spoken!!! Here ye, Here ye...from now on there will ONLY be Croc talk here....none of this Florida stuff, who wants to talk about that anyway!
Thanks Baloo for your message--just needed some  that day is all.

Oh, NOW you have to get you some crocs....the way I feel is that once you know about them and you choose to ignore them... :guilty: well, there is no hiding now. Once you have tried them on--all over, you will be sold and your feet will be happy.

Yes this is my picture with the beach model on in black--taken at the end of Jan. I wore them every single day for 10 days straight!! :cool1:

EEyore, you crack me up--I think because they were black that I wasn't noticed much as "the girl with the ugly shoes" I hardly think I was noticed at all. Things would be different now, now I would want to wear PINK or WHITE.
heck, one of each on each foot!!! :rotfl:

Do a Croc search and you will see how many times it comes up in conversation---I tell ya, happy feet is EEEEEssential at WDW.

Number 28 :cheer2: WOW we could hit 500 post soon :cheer2:Quick...call Oprah!

Who has details on locations in orlando that sell those shoes, I am a sad creature from Canada. The only distrubitor up here is in Alberta, that is like three days away driving, augh! And someone pointed out they are made here in Canada, how sad!

So, I am hoping that on my next trip, see below, that I will have a location to get me some of these crocs. Staying in WDW, so directions from there would be great or just an address. If I have too I will bite the bullet and get those ones from payless, but would really like to get the real ones!

I have kinda narrrow feet and have heard that the cayman (sp?) style would be better for me but they are $10 more than the beach and they don't come in the color I want. Any cayman owners out there? Can I get away with wearing the beach or should I go for the cayman? Please help! :sunny:

I had a really hard time when I tried them on at a store near me. The same size shoes fit me different. Finally I went w/ a Cayman size 7-usually I'm a 7 1/2 and between a reg and wide width. I want more but will wait till I make another trip to the mall. Also, I always loved my "ugly comfy" shoes (stegs, berks, dansko, born) but not the prices-now I can't belive I found comfort at such a great price throught this thread. Thanks everyone for the input! :wave2:

Who has details on locations in orlando that sell those shoes,

In this thread (somewhere) I posted a list that came straight from the distributor's email. Kudo's if you find it! :rotfl:

I'm very disappointed in the customer service at Crocs.com - I ordered the Niles a couple weeks ago and called to see if they had a shipping date (figured they were backordered) and the girl said well they don't come in those sizes anymore, they come in whole sizes. (OK great sooooooo my order was just going to sit there then?) So we cleared up the whole size thing and I asked so are we looking like a week, two? Oh it'll be at least that long. Stores are getting them but we are backed up on individual orders. I understand they're busy but c'mon. I may cancel, all I can find locally is the Beach and I don't like the wideness. Hmmmffff, maybe I'll have some Crocs for June........

Okay my Crocs are on the move :rotfl2: I received a confirmation email today from REI.com. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!! They're coming all the way from Washington State.

Hi I'm near you I'm outside Toronto on the West end. I think they manufacture in Alberta and the only place I have found them in Canada. You may be able to find something in Buffalo off the Crocs dealers but I had no idea which cities listed were close or "burbs" near Buffalo. From what I've read on the site there are only a few dealers around Orlando but they are still about an hours drive away.

I bit the bullet and ordered mine on line. I ordered from rei.com. Crocs site had lots of back orders and other sites didn't deliver to Canada. They are in Washington State and they confirmed my shoes have left their wharehouse and are being shipped. I was able to get the Caymans at the Beach price of 29.95 + 15.00 for shipping = 44.95. With the exchange rate I'm looking around $55.00 but I finally thought "well worth it for comfortable shoes".

I keep looking for the Payless ones and they are not in the stores yet. I want to try them on to get a sense of how these types of shoes will fit. Good Luck! I hope to have mine soon and I before my trip in a little over 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think they know what to do with themselves they are so busy. I had a poor customer service experience as well saying I'm from Canada and asked if there are any locations in Buffalo. The email I got back said go look at our dealers on our site. Well that's just great. I'm in Canada!!!!! I don't know all the names of the cities in the US I know Buffalo and that it's in NY that's about it. When I looked up the dealers none of them actually said Buffalo. I know they are probably suburbs and such but how exactly is this supposed to help me. :confused3
Anyway I understand your pain :rotfl: but they only expected to sell about 100,000 a yr. In there first year they sold 500,000 and had to add another plant in Italy to try to keep up. Now of course word has gotten out on them and they can not keep up with demand. Just know when ever you get your Crocs you will be cool, hip and way ahead of the trend!

Cayman are in whole sizes but fit 1/2 size bigger. 8's are 8 1/2 etc... if that helps anyone.

I do know they are busy it wasn't so much that as the nasty "tude" I got! lol

Their dealers list online is wayy outdated. I emailed them directly a few weeks ago and it got forwarded to a rep who emailed me the list I'd requested. Maybe try that?

My daughter and I both have very narrow feet and are able to wear the Beach model just fine. I had your same concerns before I ordered. Now I own three pairs!

I just ordered a pair of the Caymen Crocs from REI.com 2 days ago. They were 29.99 plus 5.99 shipping. I also found a coupon code GEAR25 that saved me 10%, so my order with shipping came to 32.94. The color choices for the Caymens was a bit more limited than the Beach model, but I think I will prefer the narrower style. I am eagerly awaiting them!

I also just bought a pair of CROCS from REI. I went to my local store and used my REI dividend. They extended the 20% off offer for using your dividend before 4/3 to me, so between the discount and the dividend my shoes came up about $22 with tax.
