DH asked for the F&W fest cookbook for Christmas

Any other cookbooks out in the countries yearlong?
How about in the DD Marketplace?

I will bump this up cause i would like to know too.......I have the Mickeys cookbooks ...are you talking about those too......They have recipes from each area of Disneyland and Disneyworld........I picked up one at DTD in the store with gourmet cooking supplies next to Earl of Sandwich.....

Morrocco has its own cookbook along with information about the culture as well and it was really cheap (ask in the resturant about it).

All I've seen other than this is the blue checked Mickey cookbook, the red Mickey cookbook and the Mickey and Friends new cookbook thats about $50

Germany has many cookbooks

Yeah it does but none are from the actual pavillion I don't think they are just generic german cookbooks. You're right most of the pavillions do sell cookbooks but Morrocco is the only one I know that has a cookbook specific for the pavillion itself

I do not remember one in Norway, but do have some Norway recipes in my Mickey cookbooks.. I have actually made the rice pudding dessert they have in the Kringla....my husband loves that.

Yes, Norway has one, it is small and index card sized. It's very cute and nice.

Oooh.. thanks, good to know.. I do love Norway's food, just do not go to the restaurant anymore as it is now a character meal. Good for Disney, but not for us as our children are now grown and we prefer a more quieter atmosphere when eating..

I am going to get that cookbook when I go, is it in the Kringla or in the store?

I've seen the Morrocan cookbook but did not buy it. Many of the recipes used ingredients not easily found (bastilla leaves). My kids loved the couscous. I make couscous at home but was interested in how it is prepared there. The recipe said "follow package directions." Not exactly what I was looking for. Even though the book only cost $6.50 (I think) I didn't bother getting it.

We are doing the Akershus breakfast, but from what I hear, there is no Norwegian food. My family is Norwegian and I have tasted many of the foods, but my wife has had lefse and nothing else.

I never thought about cookbooks from the different countries. What a great idea. I'll have to look in to that. Thanks.
