I just realized that the day we get off of the Wonder and go home, I will turn 40! Yuk.

It could be worse if you're turning 30 or 20, and not have the wisdom that you do now.
:D

Well then you'll just have to buy yourself an early birthday present and book another cruise while on board.

Great suggestion!!!!!

Well, do you *have to* go home that day?

I'll be 40 in Jan 2006 and I've already decided what I'm doing for my birthday

"I'm going to Disneyworld"

So, can you swing a drive over/trip into MK before you head home? Guaranteed to make you feel like a kid again!

What could be worse? Not going on the cruise at all, or not turning 40. ;)

I think that it would be worse if you were home and your neighbors put up a huge sign that said:

Lordy, Lordy, mousefansmom turns 40,

Honk as you pass by!

That's what someone did for my friend!

We might need to start a new thread for this, but what's so depressing about turning 40?

(Yes, I'm over 40, I'm 46.)

As to what could be worse....I guess you could consider the alternative. You could NOT turn 40--that's worse. Or, you could not be going on a cruise--that's much worse.

I'm celebrating my 50th on our next Magic cruise. DD says I'll be officially over the hill, but I suggested that I'll be "out to sea."

What could be worse? The Alternative

Enjoy!!!!

40? Is that all? DH and I have both celebrated our 50th birthdays on the Magic, and two wedding anniversaries! Hope to have our "Pearl" anniversary on board next year too. You are never too old for Disney! Nat:Pinkbounc

Of course you are all right, the alternative is worse. I think the suggestion to book another cruise is just the ticket! And then maybe we'll head to Vero Beach for an extra night! Maybe this won't be such a bad birthday afterall. . .:p

When we got off the Magic 2 years ago, on my b'day too, we were driving home and got a speeding ticket. Boy, did that end up being an expensive drive home :earseek:

ENJOY......

Yup, I'm over 40, in fact next year I will turn 50, yes I'm the same age as Disneyland, I will visit over the 4th of July but will spend my actual birthday on a cruise in the Meditearean ]YEA.

Remember it's just a number it's what you make of your life every single day.

I vote for the trip by the World...I'm turning 40 there in Nov princess: and will be turning 41 on our last night on the Wonder next year (followed by a few days at the parks!) Think of it as being at the top of Splash Mountain...the most exciting part is still to come!!!

Just mentally move your birthday up one day and spend it on Castaway with a Conk cooler.

Now that's how I'd love to spend every birthday.:p
