We have never been on the Disney cruise. I always watch the movie clips and there seems like alot to do. I am sure that Alcoholic drinks are extra but what about things like roller blading and rock climbing my kids would like to know. Thanks to anyone who has info.:confused3

This is the cruise meets thread, you need to repost this question on the forum board to get responses,
however I can tell you there is NO roller blading or Rock climbing on the Disney ships.
There are tons of kids activities for all ages and they are free.
on DCL's web site you can order a free DD that will show you alot about the cruise.
There is an arcade that costs extra. Alcoholic drinks, pop is free on deck 9 at the drink station and all restaurants , but if you order it from a lounge or bar or any wait person strolling in the theater or decks you will be charged for it.
Just fill your cup at the drink station and take it with you to save money. Everyone does this.
They do have some snacks you can buy at Preludes outside the walt disney theater and movie theater.
Flounders nursery charges $6 per hour, 2 hour minamum.
Bingo costs extra
Palos has a $10 per person fee that is to cover the tip for your wait staff. But the meal is free.
Lots of free food around the pool areas: pizza, burgers, fries, chips, chicken fingers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, fresh fruit, ice cream, pasta, etc...
free snacks late night outside the clubs too.

hope that helps some. check out the forum section on this site(top of page) and you can post questions and read dozens of other questions and really get a lot of great info.

Hope this helps alittle,

I asked in Palo's about the Tip and the server only gets 50 cents of the ten dollars. They are not allowed to say anything to the guest. The ten dollar goes to help cover the extra cost of running Palo's. The expectation is that you will provide the server at least a standard tip for what a meal like that would cost on land. Also your servers in the other dining room and your stateroom person do not get paid by disney. I was floored when I found out that there are people who do not leave them with any kind of tip. I sure would not want to work that hard for a family for a whole week and not get anything but room and board out of it. Hope this helps clear up some of the money (tip) confusion. Mouser
