What cool member perks could DVC realistically offer?

Why would someone who is already a member need or want to attend a DVC presentation?
They wouldn't.
The bench use would be for:
1) DVC Members
2) or non-members who already attended a presentation (as a silly perk instead of ice cream or extra fast passes.)

What about letting DVC member reserve more fastpasses ahead of their stay. This shouldn't really cost much DVC members could book 5-6 fast passes ahead of time.

Problem is it would take away from availability for the general public or create longer return times.

:rotfl2: Ok, did I call that color?!

you did lol
I have my share of disney collectibles, now into artwork mostly, but don't get the charm of a blinged out magic band.
Can't say I pay any attention to what color or design people are sporting on their wrist.

I have to admit, I think they should give us the choice of the DVC Magic Band if we are coming to WDW on a DVC stay

this year.

Why would Disney parks want to do this? It would cost Disney parks a lot in bad PR. There are many nonDVC guests that spend way more money at Disney than DVC members.

This is crazy IMO. 25th Anniversary celebration should be more than just gouging DVC members. What would be more appropriate is that if you are staying on DVC this year that the 25th Anniversary MB is what they send you.
Cost them almost nothing (Compared to sending the regular MB) and making members feel special. What a great idea.
I am going to copy this over to the what perks would you like to see thread.
ETA: Ok after posting the above, and then seeing the post below from 4 hours earlier, I see I am once again a day late (almost), and I already knew I was several dollars short.

That's what I was going to say. It won't cost them anything.
You want tech-challenged Disney to mess with their system by writing a few lines of code to differentiate a few guests? Anyone here see the whole system crashing or someone does it wrong and everyone gets unlimited FP+?

Since going to Disneyland in California for the first time last November, we really liked, and used, the 10% DVC discount on dining that can be used almost everywhere. I think one place we tried (a cart) did not give a discount. But I think giving this at WDW would encourage more people to eat in the parks. I know we generally eat very little at the parks and cook a lot in our villa, but the discount if offered everywhere would entice us to eat more in the parks. It would also be helpful if the counter service in WDW was better. Disneyland has great and delicious choices for counter service!

The perk I would like to see would be the opportunity to spread out the cost of annual passes over 12 months. Similar to how a lot of us pay our dues. It would be great if we could make one monthly payment for both our dues and annual passes. A win-win!

Yes, that would be nice. Florida residents, as far as I know, are the only ones who have this option. Wouldn't cost Disney a penny to offer this to DVC.

Great idea! It could be a win for Disney if it led to more (easier)
renewals.

Allowing DVC members to purchase the Silver AP like Florida residents are able to do would be nice, as well. We don't care anything at all about photopass.

My number one thing I think I would like to see would be a discount on park hopper tix other than Annual Passes. Our travel patterns are going to be changing with DS now in college so that would be a nice option. My other thing that I would like to see (that really wouldn't COST THEM ANYTHING) would be to have more options / flexibility with those darned FP+. Give us more than than the average guest or let us mix & match parks so that they don't all have to be "spent" in the same park.
