What color is the embroidered stitching on your Mouse Ears?

I'm working on a something, and I'd like to know what the most common thread/floss color used for embroidering names on the Mickey Ears hat is?

I thought it was yellow? I have two hats but I never had anything put on them. I have a child's hat that I found on my last trip that has white, but again I thought I remembered yellow? Anyway I'll use whatever the most common one is.

Thanks!

I believe it is a yellow/gold color.

They do have white and pink. Maybe even blue now? Red?

Old school was Yellow, when they brought in the 50th Anniversary Gold Ears they switched most machines to white. Now that they brought in the fancy automatic machines to replace the hand cranked ones you can now chose from several colors black, white, red, pink and I think a few more.

Here is what I have:

1980 - Yellow/Gold
2006 - White
2007 - White

Ours are all dark pink/red. But, then again, all the hats are pink. IIRC dd2's green hat had black, but she lost that one, so I'm not 100% sure. These are all from 2009.

last March it was red, but if you go to the embroidery place that's right near the free hat embroidery, you can pay to get what ever font/colour you want...

Mickey Mouse Yellow. ::MickeyMo , but I also have the classic black ears, my sister got white on her Maroon Pirate ears.

Thanks for everyone's comments :) . True, I hadn't taken the non-black hats into consideration, became a little fixated on the traditional black hat. Well that's the one I'll probably use so I'll play around with yellow and white.

My mom has one from the 70's that I should probably rescue from the attic.

I think it depends on the coloring of the hat and any other possible thread/embellishments on it. My 2008 grad ears have yellow stitching on the back, but it also has "Class of 2008" pre-embroidered on the front in yellow thread the name thread matches the rest of the hat). My Captain Hook hat from 2005 has white embroidery.
