Today, it is quite gray with a little brown. Wednesday, it should be quite brown with just a little gray!!!! and my eyebrows will be thinner too!!

why can't they wax my *** and peel off the extra???!

Brown with a lot of red! It's natural, I don't color my hair anymore. I used to get honey and red highlights, it looked really good. Unfortunately for me my hairdresser moved to Texas and I can't afford anyone else! LOL

But I had to do this weird bleach thing for my hair to actually dye red because I have dark brown hair. Does anyone have any tips for dying dark brown hair red?

Use a 50 developer instead of the 20 that comes in the box. Go to Sally's and look thru all the swatches to see which one you like best. I favor creams over liquids. They don't run down my neck. Don't be afraid to keep the dye in longer than the 20minutes.

My hair is red--always has been! But, it's now looking strawberry blonde because of all the greys. I'm afraid to color it, 'cause I'm not at all daring when it comes to my hair, and I'm concerned that my stylist won't be able to match my original red. Sigh. Oh well! Before I had kids mine was platinum blonde, which I hated. I used to dye it brown or red-which made my mother cringe. She used to tell me that many women pay serious cash to get my color hair...but I guess you always want something different than what you've got. Anyhoo...post children and into my menopause years my hair actually got some pigment and now we are pretty happy with a nice shade of medium-dark blonde. No more hair dye until I start to see those gray hairs!

Strawberry blonde. No matter what color I dye it, within a week it has faded back to strawberry blonde!

Mine is naturally dark brown.......in high school it was dyed black with a huge blonde streak down the right side (love those headbanging days!!).......then it went to red for years until the gray got too bad..........now I'm blonde because the gray roots blend better and are less noticeable!!

It's naturally salt/pepper (dk brown). But I colored it pink last month for my graduating 6th graders (long story). Now it's kind of reddish-brown.
