We have two orange bushes to the left and one white bush next to the orange...if we take out the middle-circled bush, what color flower should we plant?

It's a lot of green out there!

thank you.

Well, first thing to choose is a plant that will survive blast furnace heat, which I’m betting you have since your yard has gravel.

So if you’re in a desert climate, an azalea won’t survive if it’s 110.

Go to your local botanical garden for plant ideas once you’ve selected a color scheme. I’d go with yellow, orange, and reds.

I agree, when I saw the stones, it appeared the OP lives in a very hot climate perhaps the SW? I know there are some areas where they either don't allow you to plant grass or people give up on lawns since they require constant watering and still don't do well in all that heat. You need to select a type of shrub that will do well for the climate where you live. I would look around to what seems to do well in your neighbor's yards. Garden centers in the area also tend to stock plants good for the local climate. We can't recommend random types of shrubs without knowing more about the climate where you live.

In all fairness, I think I started that - the OP only asked for color.

I just happened to be looking at the stuff in front of my house and said the azalea only because the rhododendron would be too big for the space. :rotfl: I didn't even think about the rocks, or I would have realized it was a different part of the country!

I still like "whatever pink thing grows where you are" though,

Looking at the warm tones of the exterior home color, I'm leaning towards things in the coral/orange family broken up by pops of hot pink.

We can randomly recommend a color, but if that bush isn't appropriate for their climate, not sure how that is being helpful. Every bush doesn't come in a range of colors.
