What color boots should I wear?

I have a blouse that's striped, but the main color is navy blue. It has thick navy blue stripes and thin stripes with silver, light blue and green. Should I wear black boots or dark brown boots? I plan on wearing dark jeans with the shirt.

It doesn't really matter. I won't wear a belt, as it wouldn't show anyway. My brown purse will be left in the car and my charcoal-colored coat will be taken off as soon as I get inside.

I would wear the dark brown. It's a nice color for a boot and matches pretty much everything. The black may stand out a touch.
