On a 7 night cruise you will have one formal night and one semi-formal night, along with the special Pirates IN the Caribbean night.

True about the semi formal and formal and the Pirate night. When we sailed in January, it was still advertised as Pirate/Caribbean. I wore a cute bright colored wrap and my DD 4 (along with most little girls on the ship) wore a bright dress (or two piece outfit) bought at St. Maarten for about $10. Perfect for the festivities.

You will see everything, really formal, cocktail, simple dresses and pants. Remember black pants can be worn numerous nights with different tops.

Enough you time on the magic.

I wore a black gown and DH and DS7 wore tuxedos on formal night.

On Semi formal - I wore a short black dress and DS and DH wore sport jackets and slacks.

We used the same outfits on SF to Palo's dinner and brunch.

do many of the husbands wear tux's and would a black sports jacket and gray and kaki pants be alright for other nights and what d opeople wear on the pirates of the carabbiean night Mike

Polos and dockers mostly for me with two sport coats and two dress shirts. I usually pick up a "hawian shirt" on one of the islands or at a Disney shop to wear on "tropical" nights.....yes, I do see some people with tuxes....but not me......here's a photo of a formal night on our 04 Thanksgiving Western......

What about tropical shirt and "longer" capri's for women. Capri's for dd's??
This is in reference to Pirate night.

Do people dress for Pirate night? Examples? Is there a Tropical night too - or is that the same as Pirate night? (In reference to the 7 night Special Western.)

Take a look on page 90 from this thread and you will see some people that were dressed last night at The Pirate's Night on the Magic.

I think me and my husband would skip formal night. And maybe grab burgers by the pool or order room service. Do allot of people do this?
