What closed Disney restaurants compare favorably to new favorites?

Yes, we really miss Narcoossee's at lunch. It was wonderful to take the launch from the MK and step off hte boat and be at Narcoossee's. I actually wish they had more of their old traditional menu as well. I'm sure it's not as much fun for the chef but nothing wrong with some old standards.

How about the HDDR? I don't think the Hoop De Doo Revue has changed since it's opened...they're still telling the same bad jokes.

So, at what point do bad jokes become comedy classics?

I miss Ariels at the BC......I only got to dine there once, and it was by far, my favorite restaurant.

As I child I rememeber dressing for dinner at the Empress Room, character breakfast on the Empress Lily, the brunch at the Top of the World, and trying (and enjoying) gator along with the huge 7 seas sundae at Narcoossees. I'm so glad my parents believed in all inclusive packages.
