What carry-on bag??

We are going to need carry on bags for our trip in June. Will be 6 of us. What size, brand, kind etc.....do you use? With our clothes being nothing but shorts, t-shirts, and swim suites will carry-on's be enough or will we need to maybe check one bag??

I have one duffel I bought at Walmart last week for each of us- size is 24x11x16(?) can't remember exactly,they seem plenty roomy for everything we'll need,we stay 2 weeks,we'll do laundry,and buy toiletries when we get there. Or do a garden grocer order since we stay quite a while,it's worth it to do that for us. Anyway- the duffels I found were on clearance for 9.00 apiece. Time to retire our suitcases! we pack light anyway..but I think it can easily be done.

Eagle Creek Tarmac 22" carry-on. It has the same no questions asked warranty as Brigg and Riley but does not cost as much.

If you know what airline you are likely to travel, check the maximum allowed carry-on size for that airline and then do the same for another airline you think you might fly. Buy a bag that gives its dimension as smaller than the smallest of those 2. Both of the bags previously mentioned on this thread are probably too large ( the Eagle Creek is 45.5" which is 0.5" larger than AA allows and the duffle bag is 24" which is probably at least 2" longer than the longest allowable side) and may sometimes need to be checked.

Then decide between a bag with wheels and one without. A bag without wheels will hold LOT more than a bag with similar dimension with wheels.
