What Candy Should I Hand Out at Halloween?

I must go overboard ...this is what I have to hand out:

Mini-Peeps (individually wrapped, in Halloween colors)

Chocolate--snack size (Kit Kats, Reese's, M&Ms, Snickers, Hershey's)

non-chocolate (individually packed)--skittles, Starbursts, SweetTarts skulls & bones, Laffy Taffy, Nerds, Airheads, Sour Patch, Tiger pops, Warheads, Smarties, Double Bubble, Lemonheads (also Apple, grape heads), Jawbreakers, Bazooka Bubble Gum, Swedish Fish (ick), Bazooka Bubble gum pops, Pixie Sticks, Chupa Chups, Tootsie Roll (assorted flavors, from chocolate to fruity) plus TR lollipops


sugar free jolly ranchers (found on amazon)

Yummy Earth organic lollipops (we have several kids in the neighborhood with allergies)

Is that all ?

when i lived in town i would buy candy i didn't like but kids like: skittles, now and laters, chewy/gooey stuff.. if there was anything left it went to work with dh to get rid of.

out here we don't have tot so-there's no problem with candy.

Jedana, goodness - how many ToT'ers do you get? wowza that sounds like a lot of candy.

Main thing is I don't want to run out. If I have to turn kids away the teenagers might remember me on New Years Eve or something...

Not looking good weather wise here in Mississippi for Halloween. 50% and above chance for rain and thunderstorms mainly in the evening and early night, up to one inch of rain possible. Giving winds most of the day 15-25 mph. Looks like it gonna be a wet one...

Probably move into your neighborhood later that night Ed, maybe you can get your candy handed out without it causing you much trouble. Look on the bright side, you'll have an excuse to hold the kit kats!

yuppers, tiggerdad,, got us 100 percent chance a rain storms for TOT night.
Some central counties are changing the TOT to Friday night instead.

I was just gonna go as creature from the black lagoon, (the wet look).

Generous families gave massive amounts since demand was low. It must have rained across the whole country.

Oops, saw this too late to vote - my favorite is not on the list (Almond Joys or Mounds), but actually most things chocolate would do!

Passed through your neck of the woods, Bama ed, a couple weeks ago and hollered 'Howdy' and waved, but guess you didn't see me!

The weather was terrible for 'any' Trick or Treaters where I was last night. (In Denham Springs, LA at my sis's home). Doubt very many braved the down pours - didn't see ANY!

Hope all enjoyed it. Sure love them left over Mounds bars!

I THOUGHT I sensed a disturbance in the Force back then, NoM.

We got Tot'ers starting at about 530pm but only got a few because the rain started at 7pm. There are lots of Reeses, Baby Ruths, and 3 Muskateers left.

We made it to November. Time to start thinking about turkey and dressing.

The remaining candy is what I'd want left! Some families dumped the REST in the kids bags and shut the light off....WHY didn't the kids want to quit there?!?! Now comes a lesson in sharing!
