We have never been to the Grand Floridian and dont know the layout or know where we would be allowed to go while our children have fun on the pirate cruise, Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations....
Thankyou in advance :earsgirl: :earsboy: pirate: pirate:

I don't know anything about the pirate cruise (how long or what time of day).

Your options are a couples massage at the spa, orother spa treatments.. you could go for lunch or shop at any of the monorail hotels (CR or Poly).. Since you are 1 stop away from the MK by monorail, you could just go to the park without the kids for a little while and take the GF boat back to the resort, which is faster than taking the monorail all the way around. You could also go out on the Mouse Boats, which is lots of fun....

Just some ideas....hope this helps

Thanks, the pirate cruise is in the morning - 9.30 for two hours.
the massages sound tempting....

I would recommend that as well! Two hours gives you plenty of time, since you should make your massage for 10am, you need time to get into your robes and relax before your massage. You will not be rushed and you will feel great!

of course, there is my favorite option... you could eat! there are some great breakfast spots at the monorail hotels (kona at the poly for tonga toast comes to mind) where you can have a lovely adult breakfast :flower:

Here's what my daughter-in-law and I did while my granddaughter was on the cruise. We took a complete monorail tour of the resorts. She had never been and I enjoyed showing her each different one. It was really nice because once the pirate ship sailed, we toured a little of the Grand Floridian lobby and then boarded the monorail. While up there, we could see the pirate ship out on the seas. Really cool. We also took the walkway from the Polynesian back to the Grand Floridian, passing the wedding pavilion. We got back about a half hour before the ship was to come in and just sat at one of the tables near the beach and relaxed and talked.

We didn't know where the marina was either but there are plenty of resort maps located throughout the area. Go towards the pool and the marina will be on the left. We got there at 9:00 and I would suggest that. There are very few other pirates there and you'll be able to get some great photo ops of the kids before everyone else shows up. And make sure you are on time. That ship will sail out exactly at 9:30. Your kids will love it.
