What can I take on the plane?

Help! I haven't flown for five years and am confused by all the new rules that came in when the airports were on high security alert. Need advice as to what I can and can't pack in hand luggage - are drinks, etc allowed now? I know it's only an hour's flight to CDG but I want everything to go perfectly for first trip to DLP!!!

Ok, so I've worked out that I can only take liquids in 100 ml quantities. What do I do about drinks for my little boy? Maybe pack lots of very small ones...
