I want to visit here at least twice :cool1:. I'm trying to understand what I can order with the DDP.

1 drink
1 entree
and 1 dessert?

The brownie sounds good to me!

Yes, and for dessert, if you like creme brule (not my favorite) it is outstanding. My DD15 adores it and said it was the very best and I have read that many times on DIS. DD15 actually took 5 of them home last trip in our cooler to take to school. We liked the frozen yogurt with berries, very good but we were so full it was hard to finish. The food is outstanding there! We ate there several times and were always very impressed!

If that brownie is the same as the one they served back in 2006, yuck!!! I love brownies, and I was looking forward to it. It was awful. It was gummy/slimy and tasted like they didn't cook it long enough or something. On my last trip, I got the frozen yogurt w/ topping instead.

EDIT - now the food is grat! First trip I got the 4 cheese pizza. Last trip I got spaghetti. Yum! Humongous bowl of pasta, had to take leftovers with me.

We're going next week. Last time, we split a pizza and a salad between us. We're 3 adults. We just order an extra drink and dessert. It's plenty of food.

And here I was going to say that when I got the brownie in 2006 it was absolutely fabulous . . . the best brownie I ever had. Maybe yours truly wasn't cooked enough, but I loved it. :lovestruc I have eaten there on multiple occasions and have never had a bad meal yet.

Sorry to hijack the thread but we plan on trying WPE a couple of times but also have a reservation for the Cafe, do people think the Cafe is a good use of a TS credit seeing as we will be eating at WPE as well?

We LOVED the Cafe. Loved it. Thought it was the best TS food we ate on our trip.

We have another trip planned for january. Doing the QSDP but if we had done the DDP we would have done a couple dinners at the Cafe.

Using DDP, I really enjoyed the bacon wrapped meatloaf with the creme brulee for dessert this past June. YUMMY! Of course, anything wrapped in bacon can't be all bad, right? :confused3

The food here is OUTSTANDING!!

If your a big eater this is a good place to eat! The pizza is big enough for a big eater and so are the salads!! Holy cow!
I ordered the Turkey cobb salad, and this thing is huge!! It was sooooo good!

I've tried the pizza and it's pretty darn good, the chicken strips are also pretty decent-kids had this, the salmon was very good but not a very big serving-my poor DH. If your not a big eater this will be perfect!

I've also tried the half chicken plate (can you tell I like this place ), while I had plenty to eat it wasn't very good. But it's my fault for ordering it since I had read many reviews saying it was this way. The potatoes are waaaay over salted and so is the chicken, to the point of not being able to eat it.
The Mac and Cheese is Eh! It wasn't bad and a child would eat it, but it's not what they would be expecting since it's not yellow/orange and soupy with sauce. It has lots of yummy cheese but is rather bland on taste. :confused3 How does that happen? :confused3
But the creme brulee made up for it!!! :yay: I had never had it before because I thought it would be like flan :headache: (flan=nasty stuff) but NOT so, the creme brulee is A MA Z I N G!!!! It was soooo good, so much so that I wanted to try it every where we went on property there after and not one place (even Le Cellier) was as good as WPE creme brulee. :cloud9: So of course I had to go back a couple of times for lunch while I was there.
And yes the B.B.Q chicken pizza is still on the menu for the DISer who asked about it. :goodvibes
Surprisingly enough the brownie and cookie's weren't very good. I thought they would be but the cookies didn't have much taste and the brownie we got was dry. :confused3 I guess those items are hit and miss.
But not the creme brulee, did I mention I loved the creme brulee? :rotfl:

breakfast here is fab and they dont have a separare kids menu for breakfast - soooooooo much food!!

The Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. We make ADRs but usually are able to sit by the kitchen. There are seats for 5 or 6 at the counter and we get to watch them make the food. The cooks are usually friendly and will chat with you if they have time. One time they made an extra hot dip by accident and gave it to us. No complaints from us on that extra pixie dust! Of course, if you want to chat with your group during dinner instead of watch the kitchen in action, use your ADR.
