What can I expect from MK crowds on Christmas Parade filming days?

I'm a little concerned as we have plans to spend 12/2 at the MK. It will be our second full day at MK so we won't be in commando mode. :)

I've heard they will begin taping the Christmas parade that morning. I know Main St will be packed but how does the filming affect the crowds in the rest of the park? Should I expect long waits at attractions?

I thought about switching our schedule but we have ADRs for CP for breakfast and I doubt I could get those for another day on this short notice.

Should I be concerned about crowds that day?

TIA!

My DH and I were at MK during the taping last year, not for the taping, but to ride rides. My advice is to avoid Main Street as much as possible--the crowds are packed in very tightly all up the street and around the hub. We took the train to Frontierland as soon as we entered the park. CMs had a path cleared right to the train stairs for people who wanted to do this. Once we got to the back of the park, the lines were not bad. We did use fast pass, but rode everything we wanted to without any long waits.

When you get in get on the train and bypass mainstreet. Trust me it is anightmare there but if everyone is watching ( i cant figure out why??) then it shouldnt be too bad for just riding rides.
