well here goes im to be going to WDW next year for our disneymoon, possibly with the Dining plan..

I am Lactose intolerant, high fat intolerant (mainly things that are deep-fried I can tolerate a little oil) cant have any Raw veggies and I cant have anything Whole grain. Yeah ... Lucky me

I read about the snacks available on the plan and all these great meals and such but nothing I can eat... what I wouldn’t do to be able to eat ice cream... anyway back to the question at hand..

I know that table service meal should not be a problem as they do accommodate for people like me but what about counter service and snacks? what kind of snacks can I get in my situation....

any advice would be great

I would check out ALLEARSNET.COM. You can see the menus to both CS & TS places at Disney. Alot of the CS are more than hamburgers, hot dogs & Pizza..

Cosmic Rays in MK (Tomorrowland) has great BBQ. When I was there 2 yrs ago we had ribs and BBQ chicken. The place in Pinocchios Village has wrap sandwiches. So there are many options above fried foods. Also there's fruit for snacks. Some CS have fruit options for dessert and there are fruit snack stands in every park. Plus you can use youre snack credit for beverages - soda, water, etc.

I believe on the top of this forum there is a Sticky thread for what you can use your snack credits for - it's amazing how long the list is. I'm sure there are things you can find.

Good Luck!

at AK CS here's a few more options.

At Flametree BBQ you can have either

Fruit Plate - seasonal sliced fruit plate served with honey yogurt $6.99
My DM and I have shared this and it's pretty good as is the BBQ chicken.

Mixed Green Salad with Barbecue Chicken -- crisp greens and tomato with balsamic vinaigrette dressing in a toasted garlic shell $7.19; without chicken $5.19 (Does no raw veggies mean no lettuce too?) if so then skip this one.

Snacks is tough-like PP said-what can you eat?

Oh, also at Pizzafari last Sept. we had Breadsticks - Basket of fresh baked breadsticks topped with cheese and served with marinara sauce - $3.99 It was considered a snack-can you eat bread with small amounts of cheese?

Mmm BBQ Chicken sounds yummy.... I know it sounds really restricted but im used to it its just hard when I got out to places I’ve never been before...

I can most definitely have chicken, turkey and seafood...shellfish being my fav. Pasta with a little sauce and no cheese. I can have some lettuce and greens with a meal. Subs & wraps as long as its on white.... baked potatoes, cooked veggies, rice, some fruit, ohh and lemon marang(sp?) pie... my fav dessert..

It’s a plus that I can get beverages with my snack credits so if I don’t find anything its not a loss
