What can I do with SW vouchers?

I had ticketless travel funds that were set to expire in April 2006 and I wrote to Southwest asking if I could get an extension of time in which to use these funds because I am not traveling until the end of June. I was checking the funds everyday to see if the expiration date had been extended. Today when I checked my funds showed a zero balance. When I called to inquire what had happened with my funds I was told that I had been sent four vouchers with the remaining funds divided up amongst them ($208 in funds-four vouchers of $52 each). When I asked if I could use these vouchers towards the tickets I was planning on buying for my June trip I was told yes. However, when I look at the reservations page of their website it specifically says that Southwest vouchers cannot be used as a form of payment for ticketless travel. So what do I do with these vouchers? I do not understand what that means.

What I did when they sent me the vouchers was book my trip and when I completed my trip I sent the ticket stubs with a short letter and the travel vouchers to their customer service office. One of the nice customer service reps told me ahead of time I could do this when I called for the extension and was told I would be getting vouchers. You might want to call and confirm the address. They refunded the amount of the vouchers to my credit card a few days after I sent them. The other option with the vouchers was to go to the airport and book a trip there with them but you wouldn't get the great internet fares. It was quick and painless.
