Let me explain...

We are on the DDP for 6 nights, as part of that I would like to have a nice meal with my DH - we would put the 2 girls (9 and 4) into the kids club at Wilderness Lodge and eat at Artist Pointe which is I believe a 2 credit meal.

That means we will have 4 unused kids full service credits - is there anything we can do with them without having to pay OOP for matching adult meals?

Can they be used toward the kids club, or for counter service meals instead? It seems a shame to waste them but I can't see how we can use them as I don't want to pay for extra meals for the adults just to use up the kids credits.

The only other option I can think of is room service which would be 2 credits each.

In November my children fell asleep during 2 TS meals and were not charged. The CM at Music food court allowed us to order a CS meals with the left over credits. She had to ring them up separate from the regular CS meals.

We will have a similar situation. I would consider paying out of pocket for adult meals, but I'd want to think about where.

I'm also thinking about not having a nice dinner, but just hanging out together, maybe going to a park or having drinks/appetizers at a bar. Now that I think about it, Epcot for Illuminations might be fun, because my oldest just doesn't do well with the noise for that show. Do they still have decent beers at the Crews Cup at the Yacht Club?

This is a great idea, if you are staying at a resort with room service as an option. Perhaps order in breakfast one morning? I think that would be fun!

I don't think they have changed the rules about this - but you can convert those 4 TS credits into counter service.

Another option, depending on whether you and your DH are "big" eaters, would be scheduling one or two other TS meals and sharing your adult meals. Obviously, this would only work at non-character or non-buffet meals. I might even consider a second 2 TS meal (Cali Grill or such). I'm not a big eater, so I could easily share by picking a little off my husband's plate and the kids plates. Or, share the appetizer that comes with the DDP, get your own entree (you would have to make some out of pocket expenditure, but it would be on the less expensive side for the experience), and share a dessert.

Honestly, the DDP gives you sooooo much food, we were NEVER able to eat it all, so we shared a bunch of meals and had a lot of leftover CS credits at the end.
