What can go in carry on?

Heading to Vegas on Thursday
Can I take the pill in my carry on and also DVD and phone chargers?
Do they still go through you checked bags and take out your razors? Happens to us 5 yrs ago when we went.

You can take most stuff in your carry on. Medications and chargers etc will be fine.
You can't take any fluids of more than 100ml. That includes soft solids (my son had a jar of Vaseline for his dry lips and they took that off him).
You also can't take anything that may be used as a weapon (I guess that includes the razors). So take anything like nail scissors, Swiss army knife, razors etc only in checked in luggage.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

For razors it depends on the type of razor. If you mean like the type of blades that are in a cartridge (like the gillette ones that you just snap onto the handle) or the little disposable razors those are fine. However if you have a strait edge razor or the old style razor blades those can't go in carry ons.

As for liquids (also aerosol type things count in this too so no full size hairspray) you can have as many items under 3 oz each (about 90 ml) that will fit in a quart size zip lock bag per person.

Other liquids would have to go in the checked bags.

You can have liquid items up to 3.4 ounces or 100 ml.

And depending on how full the flight is, sometimes they get very pedantic about the weight of your carry-on bag as well.
