I'm getting so excited about our December trip! :Pinkbounc

This will be the first trip to Disney with a 1 year old. Can a 12 month old ride Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh? I know she will be able to go on the carousel and It's a Small World, but wondered what else.

Thanks for any info! :wave2:

Absolutely :thumbsup2 The baby can pretty much ride anything without a height restriction. I took my son when he was 3 mo, 9 mo, 15 mo, and he is now returning at 19 months and I took him Peter Pan's Flight, Winnie the Pooh, etc. He also went in Mickey's Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion.....almost everything without a height requirement. (Just always use good judgement....some babies may react differently than others. You know your baby best!)

I always used to frown on people bringing babies to WDW, but it is actually a great time to bring them!!! There are plenty of attractions they can go on and there is so much for them to look at.

I hope you have a great time! :cloud9: Enjoy! :thumbsup2

Our youngest daughter was 8 months old when she first went to WDW and her favorite was It's A Small World. She also loved the character encounters especially Mickey Mouse's nose :wizard:

Mickey's Toon Town Fair has great visuals for a small child. In Animal Kingdom the Boneyard is great fun (albeit a little messy) for a small child. In Epcot, the sidewalk water works in front of Test Track can be great. I know I'm picking and choosing, but I'm thinking of things our DS did at that age and these were some of his favorites.

Our DD has been going to WDW since she was 10 months, she is now 4.

Playhouse Disney
Back lot tours
great movie ride
Pirates of the Carribean
Dumbo
Peter pan
Snow white
Whinie the pooh
Small world
Buzz lightyear
Haunted Mansion
Aladain flying carpets
Jungle cruise
Whinnie pooh playground
the playground at toon town
Spaceship earth
Dino ride in Animal Kingdom (like dumbo)
Safari
Petting zoo

They will probably be more

My son was 12 months our last trip, and he also did everything that did not have height requirement. He loved everything, but was a little scared by the big puff of air at the end of Imagination. I would definately recommend a character meal-he loved it!! :teeth:
