What can 5 year old do in Downtown Disney

My DS (12) wants to go to Disney Quest more than anything. What can my DD (5) & I do that is in the same area as Disney Quest. I know shopping is huge there, but what else?

I bet you can spend a lot of time at the Gian Lego store. Everything, including the store is made out of Legos. There is even a LEGO "play area" oustide of the store. I could spend an entire afternoon there....

Other ideas

Take a boat ride. There is a boat that shuttles people from West Side to DD Marketplace.

There are those neat fountains... the ones that squirt water up different holes.... Kids seem to LOVE it and parents can't seem to pull them away.

Eat at the Rainforest Cafe

I would like to jump in here and add lots of good things but Ted said many of the fun things I was thinking of.
We have never been to DQ so I can't give any input on if your 5 yr. old would like anything there.
There is a Ghiradelli's with great ice cream sundaes, a litttle train ride & a carousel, ( but you have to pay).
Oh well maybe this bump will give someone else the chance to post more ideas!

Your five year old will love World of Disney. Yes it's shopping...only for the kids too. I went with my three year old son and my five year old niece and we had a ball. We rode the carosel and the train. Played at Lego Land, they fed the pelicans while husband and I had margaritas on the waterside at Captn Jack's Oyster Bar, ate lunch at Rainforest, listened to the Jazz singers at House of Blues, and this may sound kinda corny, but if your little one likes to read or be read to, there is a fantastic store called "2R's Reading and Riting" next to the Art of Disney store. It's filled with every book about disney himself, disney movies, disney characters, etc. We spent a great deal of time there as well. And since it was the holidays when we went, we went into the Disney's Days of Christmas store - an absolute must! There is plenty to do. Have fun.
