What building at All Star Movies?

I heard some people say the Toy Story section is close to the bus stop and food court, while others said to stay in another section (can't remember the name) because you can walk to All Star Music bus stop and food court... Any suggestions? I'm going in March with some friends who have never been to WDW (unheard of!) and I want to make their trip as magical as possible!!! Thanks for the input.

we have stayed in the Dalmation Bldg.Great location. its right next to the preferred. actually we were the exact distance from the pool and food court as the preferred. we dont think the place is all that bad of a walk , to any of the bldgs. its not bad at all.

101 Dalmation and Toy Story buildings are equal distance from the food court (just opposite directions).

The bus stop is directly behind one of the Toy Story buildings.

Mighty Ducks is the section probably a little closer to AllStar Music bus stop than AllStar Movie stop, and it has it's own pool. I would guess the distance to food courts (ASMU vs ASMO) would be pretty even form Mighty Ducks. Going to ASMU you are walking across a parking lot, you are on sidewalk to ASMO food court/bus stop.

We stayed at ASMovies once and were in the Mighty Ducks, got to say that it was closer to the Music bus stops that our own, so we would often walk from Music at the end of the day into our hotel.

Im not sure if its still a problem ( we stayed there right after it opened) but we all ( my whole floor) problems with our key cards working in the doors. Sometimes it would work, other times no. Guest services came up several times because it kept happening. But all in all it was a good time.

We just got back and stayed in the ASMovies Dalmation section. I was very close to everything. The bus stops, the food court and to 2 pools. Also one night we just missed the bus from the movies so we hopped on a bus to the Music and it wasn't that far of a walk from the Music bus stop to the Dalmations building. We have stayed in both Toy Story and Dalmations and both are great locations.

Stayed in Mighty Ducks. NEWLY RENOVATED rooms. Right at the quiet pool which is nice and laundry. Only a few minute walk to main pool, food court and bus. Should be a fairly short walk to Music main area.

It was not considered preferred and I couldn't image paying extra when we were already so close.

We stayed at ASMo and stayed in the Toy Story bldg. We loved it. I also got the insider info on these boards that there is a "secret path" behind the bldg to get to the bus stops. It worked awesome for us especially coming home late night. We avoided going through the main building so the kids wouldn't be woken up.

We liked Toy Story, but Dalmatians is just as close, only on the other side.

We stayed in the newly renovated Mighty Ducks section in Decemeber. The rooms were very clean and new looking, which was very nice. We have stayed in Love Bug too, and I think that area is the prettiest in the resort. Love Bug and Mighty Ducks are both the furthest sections from the main building, but if you dont mind the walk... they are also the quietest.
