What brand of sewing machine?

I am an experienced sewer. I have a very old Viking machine that is need of some expensive repairs. I would like to get a new electronic machine. I only do craft sewing at this point in my life. I really don't want to spend the money on a new Viking--I don't need all the bells and whistles. Would anyone have suggestions on a nice all round machine in the $250-350 range. I need it to be easy to program and thread, and I need it to be easy to move around. TIA

I have a brother that I love. The automatic threader is wonderful and it's so quiet compared to my old singer. Not to mention it;s quite lightweight. I've been really happy with it.
