im reading the hobbit. Most of yall all ready know what its about. Billbo baggens of on an adveture. Im at the part when they are going too go see galdalfs friend after the egles take them down from the mountans
Its a ver adictive book.

I just finished Startled by His Furry Shorts (I can't remember the author). Now I don't know what to read.

Right now in English class we are reading A Lesson Before Dieing. We are about halfway through with it.

The book is set in (I'm pretty sure) 1940 (which is very important)
It is about a 20-something year old who is at the wrong place at the wrong time. He is at some store when two people he doesn't really know and the stoer owner start shooting. (The store owner is white, the 20-something year old is black and the two people he doesn't really know are black)

Even though the 20-something year old didn't do anything, he is sentenced to death by electrocution.

Now, his godmother wants Grant, an elementary school teacher, to teach him.. a lesson before dieing. The lesson is that he is a man, not an animal or hog.

It is kind of boring but it's not too terrible.

What book are you reading?
Nothing at the moment, but I just finished Rebecca by Daphne deMauer (or something like that, all I know is it was French) Oh, and we're reading Animal Farm as a group in English.

what is it about?
Rebecca was about a young girl who worked as a travel companion and marries this rich guy. She moves to his house where the "spirit" of his last wife, Rebecca, lingers. Nobody uses Rebeccas rooms, no one touches her stuff. Basically, it's a murder mystery.

Animal Farm is about Communism in Russia, before, during, and after the revolution.

how far into it are you?
I'm finished with Rebecca and on Chaper 2 and 1 page in Animal Farm.

what do you think of it?
Rebeccas was wonderful, I highly reccomend it.
Animal Farm is slightly boring, but I think it's cause I'm not all that in to history and stuff.

The Approaching Storm. It's a Star Wars, Expanded Universt book. I love it. I'm only on chapter three, but, it's hilarious.

If you're into Star Wars, I reccomend it.

I am reading The Merchant of Venice. I like it so far I haven't read very much because I just started it today.

So far it seems very good, if you like this kind of stuff I would reccommend it.

i cannot stop ranting and raving about this book
its the story of the taj mahal and how it was built for the emperor's wife. its told from their daughters point of view and its just a fascinating story. its a great read, but has quite a few adult themes so if violence and sexual situations offend you easily, id skip this book, but youre missing on a really impressive "fairy tale".

Outside of school I am reading Kiss the Girls by James Patterson.

Its a part of James Patterson's Alex Cross novels. Alex Cross is a DC Cop/Psychologist.

I personally love almost everything I have read by James Patterson [which is indeed alot] He is creative, descriptive, and keeps you guessing the whole time.

I'm about halfway through it, I have never read one of his books so slowly before, darn that school!

I would highly suggest his books if you like mysteries, don't mind murder or sex to much, and like to be kept hanging from page to page, book to book.

Dragon Rider

Its about a Brownie with a hot temper (A cat like character who has thumbs and stands on its hind quarters)and a Dragon try to go to a place called The Rim Of Heaven and on the way the meet a boy and let him come too. Why are they searching for this odd place? Humans.

Im not that far into it since I just started reading it.
