I am just finishing up Night Fall by Nelson Demille. It is about the explosion of flight 800.
Interesting! I went to read the description at Amazon, especting this to be about the the flight that mysteriously exploded in mid-air over Long Island about 1 month after 9/11, only to find this is another "accident" happened 5 yrs. BEFORE!!! :earseek:

As a NYer, I'm definitely picking this book up! :magnify:

I just finished "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel" it was a long book with footnotes that drove me crazy but i liked it.

Looking for other books to read. Any suggestions ???? (love Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Harry Potter, )

I'm reading "The March" by E.L. Doctorow (sp?) - It's a Civil War novel- usually not my thing but pretty darn good.

I'm reading 2. Marley and Me: Life and love with the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan and Financial Statement Analysis by John Wild.

Marley and Me is definitely the better book.

Whenever I have some free time to read, I pick up one of my Disney books (the UG, Birnbaum's, or my Disney trivia book). That's about it.

Most reading I do right now is for school. I am doing a paper on Flannery O'Connor's "Good Country People"

I just started reading The Donor by Frank Robinson. It's a thriller about organ theft. I'm only on chapter 3 but so far so good.

I'm reading "Fever 1793" by Laurie Halse Anderson for school.
I'm also reading "Whiteout" by Ken Follett and "Tears of the Moon" by Di Morrissey
Next up is "Fire Along the Sky" by Sara Donati which is out in paperback Tuesday, and I'll probably re-read "The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe" and "Memoirs of a Geisha" quickly before I see the movies.

I'm reading "My Friend Leonard" by James Frey, the sequel to "A Million Little Pieces" that was just featured on Oprah. Its so good, I'm only letting myself read a little bit at a time to make it last longer. I'm going to start the Kingdom Keepers next.

"Vanished" by Tess Gerristen. Just finished the first 2 chapters.

I've debated purchasing "The March" since it came out. The reviews have been very good so far. As you may or may not know, General Sherman's mark on history can be questionable at best. This book is supposed to shed a little more light on him and his famous march out of Georgia. Thanks for helping me decide, I'll pick it up after the 1st of the year. :)

It's a very fast read too (The March) - very interesting. I think you'll enjoy it.

Jenny

Today I've started The Witch of Cologne by Tobsha Learner
