Patterns of Pillage was a good book. I found it at Boarders and sat down and read most of it

I'm re-re-re-re reading The Goblet of Fire. I just love re-reading this series. I always miss so much. Can't wait to start Order of the Phoenix again. I've only read that one once.

I just finished Patricia Cornwell's newest and it was GREAT! Her best yet in the series.

I'm about to start the Da Vinci Code. Chris promises that I will enjoy it. We'll see.....

I've just finished reading the 3rd in the series of Stephanie Plum books. They're a great, light read!
I have the new Jan Karon book, "Shepherd's Abiding" - I'll start that next.

Dad brought the Da Vinci Code inside and I think I'm going to take it away from him. I read the first 4 pages and fell in love.

I love the Harry Potter books. The 3rd is my favourite

I am reading The Poisonwood Bible. My DD has to read it for AP english and the teacher has asked parents to read it and there will be a discussion on January 7. I need to get going on it.

I only read Christmas books in December! OK - so I'm a little obsessive!

I finished "A Christmas Carol" yesterday and today I started "Shepherds Abiding" By Jan Karon. I'm about 65 pages in so far and it's very good.

Just finished the last book in The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. It was called The Fiery Cross. The series is so enjoyable that I'm purchasing them in Hardback

Since I am a real Disnadict I just started An American Original, Walt Disney by Bob Thomas. I just got to Walt's 17th birthday in 1918.

I just finished Standing in the Rainbow by Fannie Flagg. It was good.

Tinks, I loved the Outlander series! I stupidly loaned them to a friend and will have to buy to reread soon.

Actually it's "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Seibold. Sounds like something my 11 year old would love. She's a little sponge when it comes to reading. I'm trying to interest her in "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." I think she'll love it. Classic literature.

I am reading "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant. Just read "Up country" by Nelson DeMille.

Sorry about my spelling error. It is a very good book. She also wrote another book called "Lucky" Mom won't let me read it [she hasn't even finished it and she got it last Christmas] it's about her getting raped so it might not be a good one. I read a few pages of it. I read "The Lovely Bones" earlier this year I was sort of disturbed. So I guess it depends on the maturity[spelling?] level of your daughter if it'll be okay. I hope I didn't offend

Next to rummaging reading is my favorite pastime. I just started It by Stephen King. Just finished, Friendship Cake by Lynne Hinton. Its a little Steel Magnolias, and a little Fried Green Tomatoes.
I am also listening to an audio book by Garrison Keillor, A Prarie Home Christmas. I love the Keillor audio books---

just started -- We are Not Afraid - a book he wrote post 9/11 about the values he received growing up in West Virginia.

I love him, he is a brilliant writer.
