Insurance I never use it. I feel like it a huge waste of money

Are you serious?!?! I would fall over in a dead faint if my electric bill was that high. I'm assuming that you have electric heaters, but even so!! I think my gas and electric bills combined in the dead of winter, which is our most expensive season, don't top $350.

Gas furnace,dryer anc cooktop. 3300 sq ft house with pool, people always at home. The gas bill in the winter doesnt phase me at all. We have 2 ac units and it gets well over 100 here in the summer and even with the double pained tinted windows it is stilll that high. I am not alone. I noticed last summer after they raised our rates that the neighbors acroos the street had their window open all the time. i guess they were feeling the pinch too.

I am loving what other people pay around the country for bills for various things. With 2 grand down my DD braces are 210 a month. I only pray that she is out of them before her younger sister is feady for hers. They are a year apart so I doubt that is going to happen. I don't mind the health insurance unless I am paying cobra. I know my meds for the month are probably higher then the premium we pay and with a son in football we use it alot. This month I paid out over 500 bucks in er/drs office and med vo pays. The insurance company is not making a dime off us!!!

My electric is similar to Monique. I pay $550 a month and my summer bills are over $1000. This does not include my heat thats a separate oil bill. It is outrageous.

I can't stand paying any bill but I think that the electric, oil, and water bills should be payed by the government. You can't rent a house to someone with no heat, electricity or hot water so it is a neccessity. Why should we have to pay for it? Then on top of it you can't just shop around for a water or electric company. There is only one and no matter what they charge you have no choice. It is ridiculous and highway robbery. I have replaced almost every single appliance in my home with energystar rated stuff and yet my electric bill keeps going up and up and up. Funny how the electric company doesn't ever lose profits.

Okay- sorry for my rant but it really annoys me.

Car payments. When we buy a car, we either pay cash or pay it off ASAP.

Then we keep cars for like 1000 years. My first car, which I got when I was 21, I kept till I was 35. I would have kept it longer, but it was starting to rust pretty badly and DH was afraid that one day I'd stop at a stop sign and the chassis would stop and the body would keep going!

My current car is 11 years old, in fine condition, not alot of rust, so I will be keeping it for as long as it will reasonably last without costing me a ton of $$$ in repairs.

I HATE car payments!

You are kidding, right? If the government was to pay those bills, then we would still be paying - just in the form of higher taxes.

I hate paying the gas bill in the winter. It goes to over $400 a month for my tiny 1 1/2 story house.

I also HATE the school taxes attached to my property taxes. I have no children, so why should I pay those particular taxes? Sorry, about the vent. I can understand the property taxes for the use of fire/ems/police, and all that that entails, but I have no children...in or out of school, but it takes a HUGE chunk of our money.

cable and insurance, two big wastes of money; insurance even more than cable. Why? Because with both, you have nothing to show for your money, yet i can't go without them either!
