What bag to bring to the parks?

Originally, I figured I would be wearing my Vera Bradley Crossbody purse to the park. I need to bring sunscreen, medicine, and a few other odds and ends that won't fit in just pockets. Then, I thought maybe one of those rope strapped sackpacks would work. I found a nice Under Armour one.

I'd like to try out the backpack instead of the crossbody because I want my Disney shirts to be in full view instead of covered partially by a crossbody strap. :) Also, the crossbody strap sometimes moves and rubs my neck.

I've never tried one of those little rope strapped cinch backpacks. Are the ropes bothersome on your armpit area? Do you think this is my better option?

I used my Vera Bradley hipster and my twins used sturdy Nike drawstring bags (neon orange so I could find them easily). We do have a stroller for a bag with ponchos and water bottles.

I have used the draw string backpacks on my trips and have loved it. The strings didn't rub even when I wore tank tops. I was able to carry water and not feel the weight of it on my back.

another vote for the Baggallini Messenger bag. I have had one for years and used it on over 25 trips. Love it!

I always bring my Timbuk2 messenger bag. It is comfortable and as water resistant as a messenger bag can be. I took it on Splash Mountain and I was soaked but the camera and cellphones in the bag couldn't have been dryer.

We use this bag and cannot recommend it enough. Comfortable, holds a ton, has a elastic mesh pocket on the side to hold water bottles. Unisex. Tons of great colors. Super durable (used mine since 2007, even everyday for a year straight as a small diaper bag, still looks new). Totally worth the investment.

My Yoda backpack comes with me on every trip to WDW. I even have a set of Mickey ears with "YODA" printed on the back of them especially made for him, lol. People love it. I can fit my refillable mug, wallet w/cell phone, a folded up rain poncho, and some small snacks in it, with room for a couple souvenirs if I pick some up while I'm in the parks.

What bag to bring to the parks?

1) I bring MrsRustyScupper.
2) No, no, no, no, no.
3) Before you think I meant HER, I don't.
4) She has this fanny pack that carries almost anything !
5) And, anywhere. *

* We have used it at WDW, in Europe, in Asia, and in South America. We
use it on airplanes and on cruises. It always seems to contain what we need.
Almost like a "magic bag". You reach in and exactly what you need pops out!
I once asked her if it held Thanksgiving dinner; she said it is only October,
but wait a month !!!

Costco has Camelback style packs (different brand) for like $25-29/each if that's in the budget for the boys to wear.

Last trip to DL in the summer, I wore a Camelback & a small cross-body. Wasn't bad, but we had a stroller so I did take the Camelback off periodically. It did feel good when it was filled with ice, that's for sure!

For our upcoming WDW trip, I bought a Baggallini sling Hugger :)

My plan is to lay out what I will need to pack in it- and then find a bag that it all fits in. With a 2yo we need a change of clothing and a few other things.
