I voted BS4...I think we have our FFEF and we're currently putting 9% of DHs pay into his 401k. We need to explore investments outside of the 401k, but I haven't had the time/interest to do that lately. Right now I'm still in "hoarding cash" mode, so I'm perfectly happy stashing more money in the FFEF.

I voted #2, but was very close to chosing other. We're doing number 1 & 2, but also putting 15% into retirement and give regularly.

We are definitely at other. We had a financial meltdown for many reasons so we are paying all of that off now. Savings have had to be suspended because the interest on our debts is too high and it needs to go NOW! It's not a snowball though because it's primarily one huge debt.

Once we're done we'll work on 3, 4 and 5. (Luckily 5 is at least partially done.)

We are working on the snowball. Howver, we also refinanced our house last year and went from a 30 year loan to a 20 year loan. Our interest rate went down enough that our payments didn't even change! It was a no brainer! So I guess, technically, we have started paying off our house early.

Technically I guess we're either 4 or 5 (have to run the numbers to make sure where retirement is) but I'm still socking away a bit into savings each month as my security gland demands more than 3-6 months of expenses.

We're at step #2, paying down debt. It'll be slow going....my goal is to have all credit cards paid off in 3.5 years.
