What attraction were you most surprised to enjoy?

Well, I won't say I was terribly surprised to enjoy Buzz Lightyear, but I was plenty surprised when DH and I loved it so much we went on it seven times in one day.

"Voyage of the Little Mermaid". I wasn't a big fan of the movie, don't have any young children, just figured it only appealed to the young ones. Why did I think that-I love Dumbo, Triceratop Spin, Muppet 3D, nothing's "too young" for me. BUt somehow I had it in my mind that this would be-Boy, was I surprised!

Cranuim Command

We had no preconceived ideas, and laughed the whole way through. If you have young-ish teens you'll want to see this one.

Over breakfast this AM I told DH about all the replies to this thread. He was saying how much he enjoys Cranium Command and is looking forward to seeing it again this year--but isn't "Wonders of Life" pavillion closed for rehab?

We were also amazed at how much we (especially DH) enjoyed Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

We have yet to do Kali River Rapids (I am a total ride chicken)--does it have any big drops or coaster-like features?

Jungle Cruise and Buzz Lightyear. We had done JC many, many years ago and my rememberances were that it was rather hokey, so we had not gone on it in recent trips down. Last year we went again and love it and loved it two weeks ago. Now it is at top of list of our favorites. Also, I had never really thought much about Buzz, just not interested in that kind of thing. But once again we tried it last year and also loved it and did it again this year. BTW - DW and I are in mid-50's so maybe we're just entering our second childhoods with both these attractions.

I see a couple of people have already listed the People Mover and I have to agree. I think it is now called Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

In 6 trips to WDW I had never done this ride. I just skipped over it. In preparing for our last trip in Oct 2003 I found these boards and due to comments by other posters here, decided we needed to try it!

I love it now! It is very fun and relaxing! You can bet it will be on my to do list during our next trip!

When I was seeing the ads for Philharmagic, I was not interested in it at all. Of course w/ DD & DS (and DH, MIL & FIL who also wanted to see it), there was no way I could miss it. I was really pleased w/ it. I especially liked how it had so many of the characters in it. Can't wait to see it again!!!:sunny:

I love the TTA (WEDway people mover). It's a great way to sit down and relax while enjoying a great view of the World.

Having gone twice before my honeymoon trip, I was surprised to enjoy the boat ride in the Land. I never really knew what it was before, and we always just tended to skip over most of Future World, since the majority of it isn't our thing. But it was really fun, and I'll definitely have to do the Behind the Seeds tour next time I visit so I can see more.
