We are going to be able to do 6 TS character meals and I was wondering which were the best for 2 girls (5 and 3).

1. My girls love Chef Mickey's. It's their favorite restaurant on property.Great character interaction, good food, and a very fun atmoshpere.
2. Their second favorite is Akershus. On our last trip when my DD was 5, she even preferred Akershus over CRT. You also receive a free set of pictures w/ your meal.
3. CRT has great character interaction. Food was good, but nothing spectacular. We didn't feel like it was worth the two meal credits.
4. We haven't tried 1900 PF yet, but we are on our upcoming trip. I can't give you specific feedback having not been there myself, but based on others it has great character interaction and the buffet is good as well.
5. We've been to The Crystal Palace. Pretty standard buffet w/ fair character interaction. I've heard praises galore about Crystal Palace, so we may have just been there on an off night.
6. We haven't tried Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House, but have read great things about it here on the DIS.

1. 'Crystal Palace - For breakfast...both food and character interaction are great.
2. Chef Mickey's - Dinner....the food is hit or miss but you can't beat these characters!!
3. Cape May Cafe - Breakfast - Yummy! And Minnie, Goofy & Donald are in their swimsuits! SO cute!!
4. CRT - Either breakfast or dinner...great experience, great service!
5. 'Ohana - Breakfast - Stitch is a riot and the food is good!
6. Liberty Tree Tavern - This used to be one of our favorite places!! But alas, no more characters......

We did 6 character breakfasts and 1 character dinner on our last trip in December. My girls are 2.5 and 6. Our favorites in order are:

1. Tusker House (loved the buffet - it was large and the food was great. Great characters.)
2. Princess Breakfast at Epcot (we love the Princesses, the food is really good)
3. Ohana (the food is great - fresh fruit and traditional breakfast food, and the kids thought Stitch was a hoot)
4. Crystal Palace (good buffet with a delicious made to order omelet station - my kids love Pooh and friends - they just wished Darby had been there)
5. Hollywood and Vine (good buffet with plenty of variety - just need to update the characters)
6. Chef Mickey's (this was our least favorite breakfast - did not like the food, characters here are great, but seemed quite rushed compared to other places)
7. Garden Grill (this was our only character dinner because my kids are quite picky, as am I, when it comes to food, but we all love breakfast. This was our second trip to Garden Grill and will definitely be our last. The steak part was OK, but we don't eat fish, except catfish which they had the 1st trip, and we didn't care for the rest of the food either.)

I'm sure we'd enjoy CRT, but we are "cheap" in that way. We don't want to use two TS credits or pay that much money OOP for a breakfast (wouldn't eat there for lunch of dinner due to the food served). Maybe some day.

I know I have boys but these are our favorites.

1) Chef Mickeys - lots of interaction for everyone
2) Ohanas - Lilo and Stich need I say more
3) Akerhaus - Princesses gave us lots of attention and the best potatoes
4) Tusker House - yummy buffet breakfast
5) Crystal Palace - went for lunch - yummy - but we didn't have much character interaction that day - which was okay because we wanted to eat and go the Park but if we wanted more interaction I would have been more upset.

We have not done CRT.

They are all fun.

1- chef mickeys - good food and characters (going again in July!)
2- akershus - love the princesses!
3- crystal palace
4- liberty tree (before it changed to no characters.....)
5- CRT - have not been, but want to eat in castle at some point
6- 1900 Park Fare- planning on next trip

I'd say do a variety of characters.

#1 on our list with little girls is 1900 Park Fare for dinner! a MUST! so got Cinderella/PC and stepsisters (who are great fun!)

Akershus OR CRT for lots of princesses! - so much better than waiting in line to see them elsewhere!

Crystal Palace with Pooh, etc...

Garden Grill dinner... Chip & Dale, Mickey as a farmer, Pluto

breakfast - Chef Mickeys or Tusker House - Tusker house has Daisy!

Ohana breakfast - if they like Stitch. Character interaction great - especially with Pluto and Stitch!!

1900 Park Fare breakfast - if they like Alice in Wonderland & Mary Poppins - Pooh and Tigger there also for breakfast, so if skip CPalace, can see them there!

Cape May Cafe is a great breakfast - much more low key, but good character interaction - minnie, donald, goofy in bathing suits.

anyway... I'd say princesses are a must.... then maybe pick per giving yourself a variety of characters and which characters you think they'd prefer. Some characters are at multiple character meals.... others are just only at one particular meal.

If you can get it, CRT for breakfast is absolutely magical. It took me 5 trips to finally get it, but arriving early at the park, entering the palace, hearing the princesses announced one by one, visiting with them,etc... was wonderful. We went last year and my daughters (10, 13, 14) were absolutely enchanted. Even my husband loved it. We all enjoyed the wishing ceremony. The girls typically receive magic wands, my DD10 requested a sword. We all received wishing stars. Afterwards, we ended up in place for the rope drop at Fantasyland. It was so much fun.

My other girly breakfast is the Supercalifragalistic breakfast at 1900 Park Fair. Alice and the Mad Hatter are there and Mary Poppins hosts the breakfast. The Mad Hatter is a huge hit as he is very funny. My oldest was only 8 the first time we visited and I'll never forget the moment that she met Mary Poppins. Katie gazed up at MP and asked, "Mary Poppins, are you really practically perfect in every way?" I was so touched that I didn't even pay attention to the response which I'm sure was in character. Last year, my youngest wanted to have her picture taken with MP and Bert on Main Street. The cast member in charge decided that MP needed to move to a different location. Without hesitating, MP took Libby by the hand and walked her to the new spot while they chit chatted. Libby asked Mary Poppins if she could say supercalifragalistic backwards. MP said of course she could and recited it without any hesitation. So fun...

Crystal Palace was absolutely beautiful, but I felt a little rushed. It's very busy, but it is lots of fun to see Pooh and friends. It's probably the prettiest restaurant for pictures (after CRT).

Really, you can't go wrong with your breakfasts. Your girls will have so much fun regardless of where you go and you'll have wonderful pictures to prove it.

We have boys (they'll be 3 and 5 when we go in July), but my nieces will be with us as well for the first few days of this trip. Here's what we have scheduled:

1. Chef Mickey's dinner (did breakfast there last time, it was lots of fun!)
2. Cinderella's Royal Table dinner (our first time, but my nieces have been there once before when they were 3 and 5 and they loved it!)
3. Akershus lunch (our first time, but my nieces went and loved it!)
4. 1900 Park Fare breakfast (did dinner there last time, but I hear the breakfast is wonderful, and the GF is beautiful!)
5. Crystal Palace dinner (did it last time, very excited to do it again!)
6. Cape May Cafe breakfast (first time going on this trip...hear wonderful things about it!)

Those are all the character meals we are doing on this trip, which is 10 nights. We're looking forward to all of them!!

For us:

1) Cape May Cafe
2) PSB for breakfast
3) CRT
4) Crystal Palace
5) Garden Grill
6) The Tusker House

Thanks everyone :) I was able to get:

Crystal Palace
Tusker
1900 Park Fare
Cape May Cafe
Akershus

Which I was pleased with since I was making reservations only about a month out! I was disappointed about not getting Chef Mickey's or Ohana but we'll get it next time when we have more time to plan.
