hi everyone :wave2:
well we are booked to stay at CBR for 14 nights next year for our disney wedding :cheer2: but i was thinking of booking a 2 night stay (booking direct with disney)at the location of where we want to get wed (poly or yatch club)just to make the wedding day a little easier and then after our meal (at that same location)we can just head back to the room and have some in-room dining :) what are your thoughts on doing this?is it too much messing about?i'd love to hear from anyone with an opinion please :)

We stayed at 2 locations during our wedding and we were only there for 8 days. You will really enjoy being close by once you've gotten ready. We just had to walk from our room to the lobby and then out to SBP for the ceremony. We used the limo to go to the YC for our dinner and then some of us walked back to our hotel. It was great!

thank you for your reply :thumbsup2 like you said i want the ease of being able to walk to the location and then using the limo to travel to our chosen resturant :)

We stayed at 4 hotels during our 3 week stay and loved it. I can definately recommend the POLY :goodvibes

eblondie, i am already swaying towards the poly it looks fantastic :woohoo:

CBR is great, but the Poly is amazing. Last stay DF and I were at the CBR and it is nice, but very large. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the front desk and 10 minute to the main pool. We went to the Poly for dinner (O'hana ) and "snooped" around (lookes at pool, grounds, etc) and all I can say is wow. DF and I are considering that for the last couple of nights of our wedding week (AKL is our other choice). When we go on vk, we stay at a moderate since they are in our price range, but if we had the extra dough and weren't saving for a wedding ;) then the Poly it would be.

Hi Eve

I had friends who were in All-Stars for their 2 week wedding vacation and then they booked in to The Grand Floridian for a night or two for wedding ease and then went back to their room at All-Stars, I'm guessing this is what you mean right, you'll keep your room on, so you won't have to worry about checking out then checking back in again. At least this is what I would do ;)

We didn't switch resorts but I have to say, it was really nice to leave our Intimate and go right to our room at WL, no worrying about travel or anything on our wedding day! CBR is really nice, btw, but I'm biased because it was the first resort DH and I stayed at when we started dating :lovestruc

thank you all for taking the time to reply :)
sam,yes i will be keeping on our room at CBR (altough i'm looking into changing to POFQ)and just booking 1 or 2 nights at the resort we're getting married just to make things easy

I think this is a great plan indeed Eve :) - I like CBR and PO so you can't go wrong with either :thumbsup2

sam :wave2:
i changed my booking to stay at POFQ and already i know i have made the right choice it seems a romantic resort to stay in so fits in with our wedding  all i have to do now is wait for october to arrive then i can book our wedding and of course a 2 night stay at the location of our wedding :)
