What are your thoughts on an end date for Pixar Fest?

Hi Everyone,

While I know we can only speculate at the moment, I wanted to see what everyone’s theories are on an end date for Pixar Fest.

The background to the question is that we are at DLR September 7th to 13th, so it’s right around the end of summer/prep for Halloween time (which was so lovingly referred to as ‘Black Hole Week’ in 2017 and may not even be the same again this year!) I’m wondering if “limited time event” means end of summer, or just before Christmas, or really, just about any guess because who knows- it’s Disney! The 60th celebrations ended on September 5th, so it seems like a logical period of time for when it could finish.

Our boys will be 2 and 4 when we travel and Lightening McQueen is pretty major in our household, so we are hoping we can be there when Pixar Fest is still running.

I keep hoping that the effort of a new fireworks show and moving around the parades may mean that Pixar Fest hangs around longer than summer. We’ve never actually seen PTN either and would love to see it this time around. Do you think it could stay in DCA anyway after Pixar Fest ends?

Again, I realise it’s just speculation, but was hoping the experienced DISers on here could offer some educated commentary. Thanks!

It depends on when Halloween will start. If Halloween starts on the 7th Pixar will likely end on the 3rd. If it starts on the 14th then Pixar will likely end on the 9th.

I could see PTN staying after the fest.

Thanks- it will be interesting to see if Halloween is that little bit later again this year, or if it’s back to being the week earlier.
