We will be going out to dinner, driving around to look at lights, opening a few gifts and then either watching a movie or playing a game....(haven't bought that gift yet!)

No snow for us here is sunny COLD Florida!!

Chinese take out, opening some gifts from Grandma, and going to bed early. It's going to be a long night.

Catching a matinee of Narnia, early dinner out, home, champagne, candles and celebrating us ;)

going to DH's grandparents house for Eve dinner...then back to his parents house (same town) to open gifts.

Christmas day we're going to my parents house...

oh and after the kids are in bed I have some stuff to put together....I'll have to keep DH up for help or at least the company!

Our Annual Christams Eve party with refreshments. Which I have not pick up yet. I have a 100 people coming and I have not even start to pick up the food yet.

We will have dinner by candle-light... homemade pasta dish with garlic-parmesan bread (from Trader Joe's). Then we will go to Church at 8:00. Dessert and a Christmas show when we return home. Merry Christmas! :)

:earseek: :earseek: I'd be stressing out a little by now.

We will go across town to dsis for a get together then return home for a nice peaceful evening at home. Just what we love to do.

Yeah - we have two bikes to put together and a doll house. I didn't have gift tags when I wrapped, so I have to install all of those, too. But there is plenty of wine in the house, so it should go smoothly.

I remember one year I left all the gifts at FIL's house because I didn't have a good place to hide them at home. DH went there and loaded all the gifts, we put them under the tree, turned out the lights and headed to bed. On the way up the stairs I noticed that the stockings had not been filled. OMG! I can't believe I almost forgot. So I rushed back to FIL's, got the stocking stuff and got the job done. PHEW!

Christmas Eve we are going to church. We will either get take-out or go some where to eat. Depends on the kids, well, mostly Eli.

Then we will come home and open PJ's and books. We will get Avery to bed and then start putting stuff under the tree. DH has to put together Eli's new exersaucer thing from Santa. I have to put bows and ribbons on the kids gifts and stuff the stockings. And I am debating whether to wrap DH's new deer target (in the box) or try to put it together and have it out for himt o see in the morning. I wonder how hard theya re to put together?

We will be going to dh's parents for lunch and then my parents for dinner.

Every other year my friend and our families take turns being at each other's house. We each make food and the kids exchange presents and we just sit around and talk and eat. This year it's at their house, I don't have to be cleaning up for company. :cool1:

We will be going to Disneyland during the day, and then looking at lights in the evening. After DD2 goes to bed, it will be "Santa Time".

We're taking our sons and their girlfriends out to dinner to one of the nicest places in town!

plan to do a lot of cookie baking that day, then hopefully mass, driving around to look at a few lights afterwards, then dinner at home. Christmas eve will be just the 5 of us for the first time (myself, my husband, and our 3 young children). I'm looking forward to it! We'll have some cookies and cocoa/eggnog/whatever after dinner and read 'twas the night before christmas then off the kids go to bed. dh and I will exchange gifts after they are asleep and then santa will probably have to go to work setting things up for the next morning. Hoping to get to bed sometime before midnight!

the only reason I say hopefully about mass is my kids are ds 3 and 20 month old twins...not the most cooperative ages, and a hard, long mass to sit thru. Last year we made it about 1/2 hour in before we finally had to go...and lets just say mass hadn't even started yet.

DD12 and I are 2/3 of a string trio at the children's Christmas Eve service at church. We may stay for the grown-up candlelight service; depends on how antsy the kids are. Dinner at (probably) Macaroni Grill. Then home for The Night Before Christmas and Luke 2, and putting out cookies and Diet Dr. Pepper for Santa. Kids to bed, Santa to work.

I love Christmas Eve - we'll go to church at 4:30 (it's the children's service) and then to my in-laws who have a huge open house/party.

Jenny :earsboy:

We will be attending church for the 5pm service then I have to prepare dinner for DH's family and exchange gifts with them.

6pm at my aunts house for the family christmas bash. Going to be odd not having everyone home, but...

we have finger foods, the kids all open presents from aunts/uncles etc. and then we head home. Should be home around 930 or so.

Everything is wrapped for here, even the stocking stuff from santa, and everything that has to be put together, has already been put together and is locked in my closet. Once the girls are in bed, the santa stuff will come out and to bed I'll go.
