What are your plans for this Labor Day weekend?

I don't know for sure. I think my boyfriend and I may spend sometime together and see a movie and talk a walk.

I am taking the foster kids Universal Studios Labor weekend. Leaving out two hours late because there school require them be there. So they might go school for a hour just be count there. LOL

We usually go to my aunt's house :sad1: but we lost her last month. This will be the first holiday I will sorely miss her!

My uncle and son are coming with me to a road trip to Chattanooga to see my oldest sister and her family. They're having the annual "cookout" this year.

I'm still gonna miss my aunt's bbq. She was the best cook ever!:sad1:

 I'm so sorry. The first holidays are the hardest to get through after the death of a loved one. So many memories.

Our house has been full of relatives for the past week. We've celebrated a couple of birthdays, had a few cookouts with a lot of family and friends and have generally had a hectic (but fun!) week!

My husband and I are looking forward to getting away for a few days. We're driving to San Diego to spend two days, then we're taking a short road trip to explore parts of old Route 66. We're going to drive from Tucson to Flagstaff, then on to Winslow, AZ. You know the place..."Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona...such a fine sight to see...":)

So sorry about your aunt Robinrs, but know, she will be with you in spirit.
Your road trip sounds fun and the getaway will do you all a world of good and help rejuvenate your spirits. :flower3:

Hope everyone has fun adventures saying goodbye to summer ~ I know we will! :goodvibes

By some luck of the draw my husband has saturday and sunday off. On saturday we are getting my youngest daubhter baptised which my MIL is positivly giddy about. I had a falling out with religion about the time she was born so I never did it. We are having a private ceremony in a small chapel in the church I was married at. We will then go to a nice lunch back in our home town. I don't know what we will do sunday but just hanging out is fun for us. Plus I am sure there will be football.
