What are your plans for March Break?

After looking at the SWA March Break fares yesterday decided WDW will probably never be an option for that week, it got me thinking as to what we should do March break.

DH will have no holiday days left so am thinking of perhaps a nice weekend somewhere in Ontario.

We are going to Niagara falls the month before so not too interested in going again.

Would like to go away for one fo the March Break weekends with a budget of only $500 max.

Any suggestions?

I have stayed three times at this resort (Carriage Hills, not Ridge) and yes we do really like it. If you haven't visited yet, you will probably really enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool at the Hills resort. Neat swimming outdoors in the winter!

Sounds nice.. I am not sure about swimming outside in Feb.. would freeze on the way in and out! my DH would love it tho! I am always cold.. the pool would have to be heated HOT for me to like it!

At Carriage Hills, it is one large pool with an inside as well as an outside portion. At Carriage Ridge the pool is inside only (but also very nice).

At C Hills, You can enter the pool from the inside building and then swim to the outside. When you want to get out, you then swim back to the inside portion of the pool and then get out. Hope this makes sense.

The suites are really nice also. I'm sure you will have a great time.

I like it HOT too..... Not in your budget or time restraints but I'm going to San Juan for March break.... well we're spending 2 days in SJ then cruise leaves and goes to St Kitts, St Thomas, Barbado's, St Lucia, Antigua, Dominica then back to SJ for 1 more night and home.

Can't wait!! This will be the first time ever I am leaving the snow in March to warm up!!

I am staying home, and taking my son to "The biggest little hockey tournement in Canada."

If I can't go to Disney I'd go to St Jacobs for the March break,,,,nice little village ,,lots of shopping ,,fun place and romantic place for two.

Also just remembered --try via rails site --they have some great two -three day mini vacations ---sounds fun if you like traveling by train.

Thanks - I hope it lives up to my expectations!! I'm especially looking forward to the pirate cruise in St Lucia that's on one of the tall ships they used in Pirates of the Caribbean.
