What are your plans for Boxing Day 2023 (December 26th)? For me, I have the day off this year and plan to spend the day with family and watching some soccer (while eating leftovers of the food currently being cooked for tonight's Christmas meal). The holiday season continues folks.

I‘ll be working tomorrow.
Since the weather is mild here for us, my DH & DD20 will be taking down, boxing up and putting away all the outside decorations.

Driving back to D.C., hope the traffic is not too bad.

We’ll be back on the road heading home after having spent Christmas with family in my hometown. My sister, brother and I were all together and that hasn’t happened much at all, over the years. We said many times during the festivities, how pleased our DMother would have been to see it. Makes the 500 mile-each-way trip feel worth it.

My are doing our Family Christmas today.

Not much. I did have go into work briefly. Otherwise, after cooking, cleaning, shopping, baking, wrapping, decorating and hosting for the last 6 weeks, today is the day I do very little. Actually I take it easy for several days before going back to work and then another round of hosting this weekend and then packing up Christmas the following week/weekend.

It’s my anniversary today!

We started the day with a fire alarm that was caused by a sprinkler malfunction. We were only outside for about 10 minutes, and luckily, it isn’t cold out, but we did lose water for about two hours which SUCKS without warning.

Now we’re just relaxing and later we’ll order dinner and maybe watch a movie. Then, tomorrow it’s back to real life.

Today absolutely nothing. Resting after couple extremely fun but hectic days. Turkey leftovers and junk tv. Not leaving the house.

I'm American, but the 26th is still generally referred to as Boxing Day on our calendars so.... (also, it's known as a big soccer day). I personally call it "partridge in a pear tree" day.
