What are your "Must Do's?"

When we stayed at GCH, my daughter wrote a letter to Peter Pan and we gave it to the CM at the check in counter asking him to pass it on to Peter. The next day they had a surprise envelope for her with some really cool things.

When we stay at DLH in Sept, she will write to a different character and give it to the CM there.

I wonder then if it's a hotel only thing, then. We aren't staying on site. Sounds cute though!

You could probably turn one in at City Hall. When she was talking with Peter the next day, he asked her to keep writing letters, that they love to receive them.

Pineapple dole Whip! Pineapple Whip Float!
beignets at Mint Julep Bar (especially Pumpkin beignets!)

Eating Pineapple dole Whip in Tiki Room!

Take a pic at each 60th Diamond Anniversary Photo Spot.

Did I say to eat Pineapple dole whip?:)

We will try that, thanks!!!!

Hahah!!! I must admit that I don't like the Pineapple Dole Whip, although I do love the pineapple spears! We do always get the Mickey beignets and sit in the FM eating area and listen to the music. NOS is my favorite area of DLR.

Lots of good stuff already mentioned but I will add, eat at the Plaza Inn. It's a wonderful bit of original Disney history and the food is scrumptious!

Great way to relax while in the parks:
Carthay Circle Lounge for drinks. Sit at the bar and it is great conversation with the bartender. Sit at tables and awesome pictures of Walt around.

I'm making a list of my must do's for our trip in a week and a half. We have been many times, but this is our first long visit as APs, so we can be more leisurely about the experience.

This is what I have so far (of course not including generally, "go on rides")

List of Activities to do:

Alice and Mad Hatter musical chairs – Coke Corner 2pm

Visa M&G picture

What are some of your fun must do's? Things that are just a fun part of your trip that aren't necessarily rides or typical activities?

What are those two? (above)

Disney Visa card holders can get a free photo and M&G opportunity. The DL one is held at DCA, near the Monster's Inc ride. They rotate between characters, and there is no guarantee, but it's usually Stitch, Minnie, or Daisy.

The Alice and Mad Hatter play a game of musical chairs with kids at Coke Corner every day at around 2:30. I plan to arrive at 2 to be sure we hit it.

Who is Farley? We love that area!

Farley is a Fiddler, just like his name says. Here's his Facebook page, which he oftens puts up his weekly schedule.

My family and I have known Farley for 30+ years. I remember when he used to chase me around the dance floor wearing a big floppy cowboy hat while playing "Devil Went Down to Georgia". He's a real character. Check him out when you are there next time.

Last time we were in the park and saw Farley, he was interacting with a tiny little girl. He ended up letting her try his fiddle and she was fabulous!
It was pure magic!

So many great things already mentioned...
Ride Lilly Belle for sure -- so special
Catch a ride down Mainstreet on one of the cars or horse drawn trolleys
Sit down at a park bench near the hub and enjoy a special treat
Star Tours more than once
Tiki Room
Storyteller boat ride
Visit the Wishing Well near the Castle

Is Farley the man who does the improv songs at the Big Thunder Ranch restaurant?

I have never seen him there so am not sure.

When I have seen him it is just as you enter Frontierland from the hub - usually on the left in front of one of the stores there.
