What are your "hidden gems" to eat at?

i also just remembered...we stopped at the conference center to print something out at the contemporary during our mid moring break. We stopped at their coffee shop on the way out and i got a caramel macchiato (sp?). It was the best coffee drink ive ever had! It was sweet without being too sweet. And it didn't drown me in coffee either! So good!

Tusker House was one of ours, but I just heard they are changing it..

Okay, here's one. At CSR's food court, you can get your food 'to go,' avoid the tip they charge, and take your food either out by the lake, or over by the pool. I took my breakfast over to the pool and it was just us and a lone duck. Very nice way to start a WDW morning.

I did the same thing at the Castle (Doubletree?) on I-Drive a few years ago, and it was great. The pool there has a fountain in the middle, so it was really nice on my first Orlando morning sitting in the sun by the water.

We love the aloha pork sandwich at Captain Cook's at the Poly. And the pizza isn't bad there for Disney pizza. And we've always had great meals at the Big River Grill.

Two gems to share:

The coffee stand at the Poly outside of Kona Cafe. Great spot for a real cup of coffee or espresso and a snack.

Yakitori House counter service at Japan in Epcot. The courtyard is wonderful, quiet place to eat and unwind.

Add my thumbs-up for GF Cafe and Garden Grill.

One other spot I like a lot is Tangerie Cafe. Great food.
