A soft throw blanket was my first thought too. We just have a portable air conditioner and the other day when DH came home from work I had it on and was sitting nearby wrapped in a throw blanket watching tv. He immediately wondered why I hadn't turned it off and had a hard time understanding that I had a hard day at work and specifically turned it on because I wanted to be wrapped in a blanket!
