For our upcoming January trip we are leaving the kids at home. It will be just DH and I so I've booked lots of places that we've never been to before. Tell me your favorite appetizers, entrees and desserts you've had at the following restaurants. TIA

La Hacienda

Brown Derby

Grand Floridian Tea

California Grill

Marakesh

Artist's Point

Narcoossee's

Jiko

Artist Point

Appetizer - mussels! the sauce is to die for. We had an amuse bouche of the mushroom soup and it was very tasty, definitely going to get it next time

Entree - The salmon (of course) and the Buffalo Steak...both are incredible.

Dessert - The port flight!! 10, 20, 30 and 40 year tawny for $22...can't beat it!

La Hacienda

Brown Derby

Grand Floridian Tea

California Grill- Didn't like my appetizer, LOVED the oak fired filet with sauce on the side & I got some mousse dish that was very good. It's not on current online menus.

Marakesh

Artist's Point- I loved the pork belly appetizer, liked DH's steak more than my bison & fell in love with the chocolate indulgence. That chocolate sea salt ice cream is like crack.

Narcoossee's

Jiko

I've only eaten at two of those places, but there you go.

I've only been to Narcoossee's, but my favorites were:
Appetizer - Calamari
Entree - Maine Lobster
Dessert - Chocolate Mousse

Brown Derby faves are the Cobb salad and grapefruit cake. YUMMY!!! At Jiko I like the taste of Africa or the cheese selection appetizers and used to like the oak-grilled filet mignon with mac and cheese. Haven't had the filet since they switched out the mac and cheese for risotto, so not sure about that.

Thanks to everyone that has given suggestions so far. Keep them coming:goodvibes

I'll respond for just the ones that I've done recently:

Brown Derby: Cobb Salad, potato crusted crab cake (loved this dish!)

Grand Floridian Tea: the Buckingham is what I've had both times and it was great!

Narcoossee's: the almond crusted cheesecake was delish - and I'm not even a huge cheesecake lover

I have been to three of those places..
I LOVE all the desserts at La Hacienda.. We got three different meals and all were AWESOME..
Brown Derby.. YES..Cobb salad.. AWESOME.. and grapefruit cake..

Narcossee.. the Surf and Turf.. I am from the Northeast and the lobster in the turf was the BEST I have ever had.. my husband loved the crab cake too..

Akershus for DD, she loves the princesses
La Hacienda for DW, she loves mexican food
Biergarten for me, i was born in germany

The shrimp curry at Jiko is one of the best meals I've even had at Disney! Their flat breads are very good, too.

I have only eaten at the BD of your choices. Best appy is the Crab Cake! Best dessert is the Grapefruit Cake. They quit making my favorite entree so I can't help you there.

Out of your list we have only eaten at Narcoossees. The surf and turf was very good, the almond crusted cheesecake was tied (Yak & Yeti fried wontons is the other tie) for the best desert at Disney

California Grill, the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli is so good they make me a dinner portion. For dessert the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake is delicious!

Don't have a favorite dish T Narcoossees, but as other posters have mentioned the Almond Crusted Cheesecake is amazing.
