what are your favorite rides at disneyland?

im going to disneyland for the first time and wanted to know what the best rides were?

I went to Disneyland this summer and had a great time! You need to do pirates of the carribean, it is sooo much better and it is also longer in DL than WDW. I enjoyed Indiana Jones as well, as it is better than Dinosaur in the AK. I love Soarin over CA, even though it is the same as in epcot. Autopia is really fun, too! I could go on and on..... I hope this helps you a little!

i practicly LIVE at d-land ( i live super close a hop on the freeway, and im thr in 10!

so, id have to say the mountains (splash mt, space mt, thinder mt, and matterhorn) r the ones u have to go on. the finding nemo ride is an excellent one to go on, but its one of my one-time rides, so if uve nvr been on it, id go on it. pirates is good, better than the one in wdw, it has a longer drop. california screamin is excellent too. TOT is awesome, but not as good as the one in wdw.

some advice for u, is right when d-land opens (like, im not kidding, right when it opens lol), get a fastpass for space, and go to finding nemo, and depending on when u fp is, u can also go on matterhorn. then go to space. space mt and finding nemo are the ones that will get especially crowded the first hour to an hour and a half. TOT and cali screamin r ones that can get pretty lengthy, especially TOT. also, ik it isnt a ride, of the world of color water show is a really great show, its amazing! but if u want a ticket to it, you'll have to wait in line for one, and you have to get one right when the park opens.

disneyland opens 1st, then cali adventure opens usually 2 hours later. check the park hours to see when each park opens.

if i were you, do the 1st 3 rides i told u about, and if you have time, go on a few more (indiana jones is one u should go on, as well as pirates of the carribean and haunted mansion. you can always come back to d-land later to do more) but like 5-10 minutes b4 cali advenures opens, start to head to the park. as soon as u get into the park, if u want to c world of color (i highly reccomend it, if you have time to do it at night) go and stand in line ovr at grizzly river rapids for a ticket to WOC, and then head 2 TOT. if ur not going to c WOC, go to TOT, califonia Screamin, Soarin, and then you can do some more rides like silly symphony swings (if ur into that) and any othr rides u wanna go on. Whever u go back to D-land that day (if u do go back that day) Thunder Mt usually doesnt have that long of a line, and dont b intimidated of the wait, because the line moves pretty fast. even tho it says 30, it usually means only 15-20 minutes. but if u do end up staying in line for 30 minutes and u wernt planning on it, sorry for that info. but thats usually how it is. splash mt might not b the best idea unless u have a poncho, because it might b cold. matterhorn usually doesnt get that long during the week, even on weekends its usually not that bad, so matterhorn u can always hit later, but whenvr u want to hit it, u can.
