I made a post asking where to find a Monte Cristo sandwich like the one at Blue Bayou at Disneyland and found out there isn't one at Disneyworld. Sooooo... what are some foods that are special to Disneyworld that are your favorites? I want to make a list of things to check out or else I will get too overwhelmed and forget all the suggestions I've seen once I'm there.

Wow-so many choices--but our must do is Beaches and Cream for ice cream treats. We also always stop in Germany at Epcot for a Bratwurst and beer.

Mickey ice cream bars! When I have one, I know I'm at WDW. It's not the best ice cream bar you'll ever eat, but it's definitely special to Disneyworld.

cheese flat bread at Spoodles
chocolate souffle at Flying Fish
cheeseburger at Beaches and Cream
baked garlic to spread on bread at Yachtsman Steakhouse

hi
the pretzels filled with cream cheese and peppers also the ones filled with apple and cinnamon. :jumping1:

I had my first Dole Whip last month. It was pretty tasty!!!! It is sort of like a soft serve ice cream, but better. They are available in pineapple (that's what I had) and also vanilla, chocolate or swirl. You can also get a Pineapple float which is a Dole whip with pineapple juice. My DH had one of these except he substituted Sprite for the pineapple juice. He really enjoyed it! I think these are only available at Aloha Isle in MK.

Chocolate Moose at LeCellier (on the kids menu).

Tried the pineapple Dole Whip but it was too tart for me.

The smoked turkey legs are always good.

A long long time ago when Tony's Town Square was another erstaurant (can't remember name) they used to have Monte cristo's my parents fell in love with them and this was the first place that I had ever seen one.

Now I like:
Dole Whips
Whit Chocolate Macademia Nut Cookies-Main Street Bake Shop
Edy's Ice Cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

Where to start -
Hot Dog at Casey's
Wet burrito at Mexico
Chicken Fingers at the village haus and eating on the second floor

Thanks everyone. My boyfriend would love the cream cheese filled pretzels, where can I find those?

another vote for casey's
the ice cream cookie sandwich at main st ( really big, we split it, not the packaged one this one is fresh cookies of your choice so you could get the white choc mac. nut from a couple posts above umumum)
pralinage at french bakery
pine cone waffles at wcc
oh and those mickey rice kripsy treats with the choc. ears are pretty tasty too!

I know this is childish, but I'm in love with the Chicken Tenders at any fast food restaurant at WDW. Chicken Tenders with honey mustard sauce and fries...mmmm...I'm in heaven. It's not a trip to WDW without them! :teeth:

I also love the popcorn in the parks. There must be some pixie dust on them, because when I make Orville Redenbacher popcorn at home, its not the same.. :wizard:

And the saurbraten( sourbraten? ...however you spell it) at Germany is amazing!! I'm drooling just thinking about it!

I have several favorites, but to name a few....

Tokyo Sushi Roll at Yakatori House in Japan @ EPCOT. Although I'm sure it's not very authentic sushi, it's about as close as I can get in Kansas.

About anything in Columbia Harbour House @ MK. Probably my favorite counter service restaurant in the parks.

Panzanella Salad in Mama Melroses @ Disney Studios.

Dole Whip @ MK.

cream cheese mashed potatoes at Le Cellier (& their pretzel bread!)
fried herb cheese appetizer at 50's Prime Time Cafe
steak at Shula's

BTW, I second that curiosity on the cream cheese filled pretzel. You can't say how great it is and then not tell us where to get it! :earboy2: Can you tell I'd eat anything with cream cheese?

Peach tart at Boulangerie Pastry in France, Epcot; Strawberry swirl at Enchanted Grove in MK (strawberry instead of pineapple, otherwise it's like a Dole Whip); Figaro Fries at Village House in Fantasyland, MK; pistachio gelato at Beach Club Marketplace; hot deli sandwich at Pizzafari, AK.
