Do you stick by "old standards" or have lots of those new "gadgets"?

I like Fantastic, especially the new Oxygen one for basic cleaning.
Comet or Ajax for the kitchen sink.
Nothing takes out mildew like Tilex in the tub/shower.
Pledge for dusting, but Endust is OK, too.
Windex for the glass.

My new "gadgets" that I love.
The Clorox toilet wand with the throw away pads.
Mr Clean Magic Reach. Great for a quick floor cleaning, drys fast. Plus I like the pads for the tub, counters.

I stick to standards.
I 409 the house to death
Clorox spray the tubs
Windex the mirrors
regular old toilet bowl brush with Lysol bowl cleaner

guess the only "gadget" I use are the swiffer dusters (which I love)

I like Cameo for scrubbing my stainless steel pans and the sink (it's stainless too).

Mr. Clean for mopping, but prefer the Swiffer (it's faster. LOL). Murphy's oil soap for the hardwood floors.

I use CLR for the bathroom (I hate to scrub).

Windex for glass, but an aerosol can glass cleaner for my monitor. I just like it better.

Pledge for dusting. I also use Old English once in awhile, it covers any nicks that you might have.

Tide for laundry and Bounty or Snuggle dryer sheets.

I swear by Simple Green for most all stains.

The dollar store has a product that can't be beat for getting mildew out, but I can't remember what it's called, but it's in a white bottle. (We use this mostly for our boat)

I love the Magic Eraser.

Cascade and Jet dry for the dishwasher and Dawn or Palmolive for scrubbing dishes that can't go in the dishwasher, or simply don't fit in the dishwasher, plus I use it for cleaning the countertops, stove, and the sink daily.

That's about all I can think of, but I know there is more.

Dawn for dish liquid
murphy's oil for our hardwood floors and baseboards
windex for glass
tide or cheer for laundry soap
plain old clorox for the toilets
tilex and tilex soap scum remover for bathtubs and showers
soft scrub for the smooth top stove and stainless steel sink

and my newest fav is Spray n Wash Dual Power...it's awesome

Greased Lightening to get out any stain.
Orange Glo for wood.
Tide and Downy, both Febreze scent for laundry.
Mr. Clean for counters and floors.
Clorox in the toilet.
Plain white vinagar to get rid of any hard water deposits.

Mr. Clean magic erasers... best thing since sliced bread :teeth:

Windex for windows and glass. Formula 409 for every other surface in the house (I swear this stuff will eat through lead if you let it sit long enough!). Armstrong floor cleaner for my vinyl floors, and Murphy's Oil Soap for my hard wood floors. I don't use it everytime I dust, but about once every 4 months or so I'll use Orange Glo on some of my wood surfaces to shine them up a bit.

Oh, and the Clorox Toliet wands, I love these things!

I'm another one who loves the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Also, I use:

Murphy's Oil Soap on the wood floors
Soft Scrub in the showers
Baking Soda in the sink

I like the Clorox wipes in the bathroom for cleaning up DS4's misses around the potty.

Kaboom for the shower stalls and tubs. It works wonders!

Can't do without my Swiffers!

What do you all use the Magic Eraser on?
I've never tried it.

I live in England so some of these names may not be familiar to you.
Dishes - Fairy Liquid
Cooker and stuck on grease - Fairy Power Spray - great new product.
Furniture - Pledge Polish
Bathroom -Toilet duck and Flash All Purpose
Windows - soap and water.

Now, bet you havent heard of too many of them! :cool1:

Maggs

I like Watkins products. :teeth: I just signed up to be an associate just so I could get the products at discount. DH loves the stuff too, but he knows how much money I'm going to blow on it.

Watkins products? Do you have a link? I've never heard of them and am curious. May not be available here in the South.

My faves:

Grease Lightning- I use it for EVERYTHING
Clorox Wipes- 'nuff said

I PM'd you a link. I have noticed that they've put a few products in Walmart for product recognition, but they won't have their full product line there. I know I've seen their pepper and vanilla, plus a menthol salve (kind of like vicks salve). They'll be switching over to Target in the next few months.

The three things I use most (other than dish detergent and laundry detergent) are plain ammonia (for walls, floors, tubs, toilets, heavily diluted for windows and counter tops), Clorox wipes (for fast cleanups in the bathroom) and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! I buy very few other cleaning items.... just too overpriced in my opinion..........P
