Did you know she is doing another Big Stone Gap book? Return to Big Stone Gap coming in Sept. I cannot wait!! (Although I must!)

Loved that trilogy.

I am a big fan of all the Miss Julia books by Ann Ross. She's corny fun but I adore that woman!

I love reading Elizabeth Berg. I think her style of writing is easy to read and somehow calming to me. :confused3

I just started really reading within the past 2 years and have so much catching up to do with all the classics. I did read To Kill A Mockingbird in school and will read it again because I did love it.

One of my fav kids books is called, Listen, Buddy. Caps For Sale and all the Kevin Henkes books (Lily, Sheila Rae, Owen etc.) Oh! And the Francis's books. I loved those!!

Oooh, scandalous! :rotfl:

It's cool seeing what everyone likes to read. I've been looking for some good books for the summer and I'm definitely going to take some from you all's lists.

Doesn't she just develop the most wonderful characters? Italian immigrants living in the Blue Ridge mountains--I love it!

I am so glad you posted this, Brenda. I'll have to preorder when it's available. :goodvibes
