What are you planning for your Sunday Supper?

Got the gravy (sauce) going with the homemade meatballs and hot italian sausage simmering in the crockpot! I'll let it simmer until at least 5PM. By then all the flavors will be blended perfectly!

The house smells so good!

What are you planning for your Sunday supper--or dinner as I like to call it?

I have no idea we're doing.........nothing is thawed, but something warm that simmers all afternoon would be so good on a chilly day like this.......I better get moving

I am going to start my spaghetti and meatballs in a few mins - have to leave for work soon so dinner has to start early around here.

We had Thanksgiving dinner. The military base sponsored a community Thanksgiving meal, they provided the turkey and ham and everyone contributed a dish. We have full tummies after a very delicious feast.

We're having a variation on the Naked Chef's perfect roast chicken. We really only like white meat and most of a whole chicken goes to waste . So, I bought chicken breasts with bones and skin and I'm going to try the recipe on just those pieces.

We have a Beaujolais Nouveau to go with it.

Mmmmm, yummy Blondie! Dont you just love when the house smells of that? I cant wait until Tuesday when mine smells of it, when I prepare our Thanksgiving sauce.

Tonight is going to be chicken broccoli & ziti. DH used to work in an Italian restaurant (as a bartender & waiter) where he picked up this recipe. So, this is one of the few meals he actually does the cooking for. Well, I do help prepare it, so I dont get out of cooking altogether, but its easy for me.

Hi Blondie My house must smell like yours! I started my meetballs and sauce about 2 hours ago, and I'm about to start the dough for the Italian bread.

Venetian Shrimp and Scallops. I started watching "30 minute meals" with Rachael Ray on the food network. I am hooked and have done several of the recipes.

Must be nice to have "seasonal" weather. I wore shorts and a t-shirt to the mall today. Will it ever stop being summer?

Mmm.. the kids are going to have macaroni and cheese, and we are having the remnants of last nights dinner which was a Chicken Cordon Blue thing.

LOL! I was bundled up as snug as a bug in a rug yesterday (it was very cool), today it's in the 70's and I'm wearing shorts. I'd just like to have consistent weather.

Kathy, tonight I'm going to grill some steak for me and my ds, grill my SO a hamburger (he hates steak), and grill my dd a hotdog or 2 (she loves to be different too ). I'll probably make some oven fries and some green beans too.

We're having leftover hamburgers from last night. It was warm enough to grill, but I made them on the George Foreman because DH was too lazy to cook.

DH and I were craving a good ole juicy burger, so he shoveled out the gas grill and barbequed burgers this afternoon on the deck! They were yummy.

DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HOT WEATHER UNTIL YOU COME SPEND A WINTER IN VERMONT! You will soon count your blessings.
